Got a call at work from coast professionals yesterday about my student loan debt and that in order to keep from getting a garnishment on my wages I had to set up a payment plan with them and pay the first payment that day of $125.... then 9 more payments every month???? Is this a real company or a scam trying to get money from me???

This caller called for the first time today.

received 2 phone calls from this number today left messages that it very important that they speak with me," but does not say who thy are calling for" says to press 1

I receive the message on my answering machine. Press 1 to speak to a representative or call us at 1-800-231-0225. Then the reppresentative comes on the line asking if Richard is there. I will find an address and post it soon.

THEY CALL & IT IS A RECORDING AND ASK YOU TO PRESS 1 TO TALK TO A REP OR CALL THEM BACK AT THIS NUMBER. I MEAN IF YOU CALL ME DONT ASK ME TO CALL YOU BACK OR PRESS A BUTTON. I DIDNT CALL YOU IN THE FIRST PLACE. ON MY CALLER ID IT HAS 888-467-7594....WHY WOULD THEY ASK YOU TO CALL A DIFFERENT NUMBER THAN WHAT SHOWS UP.

Received calls looking for certain individual and this company is also sending letters to neighbors requesting information on me.  Definitely a collection letter of some sort.
