Why do they keep calling me?  I've opted out a bunch of times and they still keep calling.  Is it because I have a Shell gas card with no balance?

I also am getting a phone call everyday from this number.  After reading where the 800-238-1126 was coming from I got my shell card out and called them at shell office which is  1-800-331-3703. I told them I was keeping a record and time of calls from the 800-238-1126 and wanted the calls to stop or I would file a formal complaint with the attorneys general office.  They quickly removed my name and marked my account as private.  She said they sent everyone out a letter in which if they person did not want phone calls they had to mark private.  Now let me see that must have been in invisible ink.  She said it would take 30 days for my  phone number to be removed from the system.  I am going continue to keep a record.  Regarding putting your phone number on the National do not call registry you must do it every year then  after 30 days can also file a complaint with them.  we can win...thanks for this site, it helped me.

Shell credit card trying to sell something besides GAS !!

Have been getting multiple calls daily from this number, we never answer it, and they never leave a message.  Very annoying!

They call incessantly-I don't answer-but I'd like to know who they are

This number keeps calling.  They ask for someone who doesn't live here.  I don't even recognise the name.

i have Shell Credit and emailed them when it first started as i, like most here, was not happy with the calls. here is their response:

both of these numbers i have reported to the National "Do Not Call" list. obviously hasn't made a difference, but i keep trying. last time they called, i stayed on the line. when they asked for me to leave information at the tone, i played music until their time ran out.....figured, nothing else, maybe it would clog up their voice mail system.

this number totally pisses me off as they always seem to either wake me up or interrupt whatever i'm doing!

You have a Shell Card and you know it isn't collections or Shell but it is is telemarketing.               How do you know it isn't collections? Do you have the entire collections industry phone book with all their 'secret numbers?' Ditto for telemarketers.

I have received phone calls from this number for months.  Since we primarily use cell phones, I rarely answer the home line . . . it is part of a package telecommunications deal.I can check the numbers that call my home phone, and this one is always there.  Today I answered thinking it might be one of my family members, and the person hung up.  Apparently they get paid for just placing the call.  Yes, we are Shellcard holders . . but I think we will ditch them now!

We are on the No Call List and still get calls from Not Provided. Reading these posts, have found out that it is Shell Oil Company. We have the credit card, But we have protection through Citi Bank.

Shell (CitiBank) attempting to get you to sign up for credit monitoring service.  I have spoken to them, called them back, everytime asking to be removed from their calling list.  Still calling?

I agree they (Shell) just do not stop trying to call me about their (Shell Credit Card) Roadside Assistance Program. I have had a Good Standing Account with them now for over a year and I have told them on 2 ocassions now that I am not Intereted as I have AAA that is a much better program than their own $1/wk plan. As they have many more benefits (trave services,entertainment discounts,Instant State Car Registry,etc). So I continue to Ignore thier calls as I have them in my phone history so I do not have to answer them again. If they continue to bother me with calls I will Cancel their card as I only use it on long road trips for fuel only, so I hope they are reading this.

This is a call from Shell Credit Card bankholder, either for collection and/or marketing strategies. It's backed up by Citi Bank

They call a couple times a day everyday and don't leave a message. Caller ID shows the number and 800 Service.

Do you have  Shell Credit Card?  They are a marketing department.  Call the number back, wait for the automated message to finish and select #1 to be added to the do not call list.

A lot of STEPS like spelling your name clearly and then your address..I gave up by then.....

Two calls back to back, a very rude telemarketer from SHELL with a promotion for the cardholder.  I asked them to take me off their list and they tried to talk above me.  I hung up.  Then hung up again.

If this call is from shell then why do they want so much very  personal information

We are on a do not call list and refuse promotion calls.  The company is wasting their time and, more importantly MINE.

Just called and put myself on the Shell do not call list for marketing.  Thanks for the info. It was easy.

Call the number back, it is a recording for Shell Credit Cards. They give you an option to place your number on their own DO NOT CALL LIST which takes effect within 30days.  No one actually talks to you it is all automated.

The first two calls were unknown.  The recent call was connected to shell. I use shell all of the time.
I pay my bills each month and on time. I don't what the problem would be if there is one.  I don;t have time for nonsense because i am very busy working.

Are you sure it is someone calling about a Shell Credit card; it might be a debt collector which is considered  "false and misleading representations" under the FDCPA.

I keep getting annoying phone calls from Shell.  If they don't stop I'm going to cancel my account with them.

They appear to be based in India and are simply a telemarketer for Shell credit card customers selling additional add on services.

Shell credit protection offer.  They stopped (so far) after I pulled a "nutcase" tirade, screamed into the phone at the top of my lungs and told them never to call again for any reason.
