nobody has my number but 5 friends, and 866 544 2755 always call! how do they have my number?

They call my house every day. They are looking for my EX-wife. Twenty years later and she is still at it screwing the credit card companies. Its there own fault for giving the deadbeat a credit card. Now try to get your money from her. Thats why they call them EX-WIFES!!! Good riddons to bad rubbish of my past.

Phone rings EVERY day with this number on the caller ID. FCC please. I am on a do not call list forever. Does ZERO good. These pains in the a***s should be stopped. How is it they can get away with these antics with all of our technology???? !!!   Beyond me! Some people in the world need an intervention badly!. Be well! Im praying on it!!!

Alright, it is a company called Alliance.  I suggest you call them back, wait for them to tell you that the call "may" be recorded. Then tell them that you are now recording it as well. Then tell them in no uncertain terms that you are officially warning them,  if they call and not leave a message again after this warning that you will report them to your local county attorney, for a misdemeanor harassment.  

Funny fact, if they leave a message it is not harassment but if they call after being warned and don't leave a message it is, n 38 states.  Here is the best part, these guys are bottom feeder collection, meaning they will not let there people waste time leaving messages, they only let them speak to real people, a computer cues up the calls one after another they need volume of calls to get even a small return.

For a last bit of fun, when you call them back talk a looooooooooooong time, do not use fowl language but do take charge of the conversation, make them repeat the warning back to you, tell them to take the time to put it in the notes on whatever account they are chasing, and finally warn them again not to call and not leave a message, and remind them that you have just recorded the entire call.

Viola! scumbags gone.

It's a debt collector. What they are doing os called 'Calling a Nearby' which is legal in 47 states. They use a cross reference directory and get the phone numbers of your closest neighbors and call them and try to get your number or even have them bring YOU to THEIR phone.

I get calls daily from these people even on Saturdays 4:37 in the afternoon on Saturday. Kinda funny someone said Capital one because lately ive been getting Capital One credit card apps in the mail daily and only them. I keep blowing them off. I totally think somethings up with these calls. The do not call list is a joke. Portsmouth NH...

Called the past 3 days, left a message I couldn't understand because what they spoke was barely English.  Blocking them now.

Yes, they must be some sort of collector, calling me asking for my fiance and he says he never gave out my number to them. He owes money to DIsh network from years back and they must be calling for that or maybe medical bills but I told them today they have the wrong number. In the past this number has left messages saying, as people below have said, "an important business matter". Today is the first time I have spoke with them in person. My teenage daughter also erceived calls for him from this number too so I am thinking they must do some sort of search and it brings up any relatives etc. and then they harass them!

Got my business number from Comcast about a year ago.  These clowns started calling about two weeks ago.  Every four or so days, just before lunch and just after quitting time.  Happily, I haven't been at my desk when they call, but they do not leave voicemail.  Cowards!

Its a scam! Do not give them any info!

yea screw these guys its a fraud call. they keep calling saying they're with Capital One and that i owe 1800 dollars. and that if i make a payment they'll knock off 500 bucks. DO NOT! i repeat DO NOT give out Card information. its a scam

I get call from this number daily. Started happening about a month ago. I finally called the number back yesterday and they said they were with "Alliance Banking" or something like that. The lady did not specify what their company was about so I told her to stop calling me. She told me she'd take me off the list but didn't even ask for my name or anything. I review my credit report weekly and do not have any negative reports from creditors, so I believe this is a scam. They called me again this morning and when I answered they hung up! So annoying!!

I have noticed that since I decided to work part-time and have put in apps with a certain online "employment" agency. I have been receiving calls for debts that are not even on my credit report anymore(it has been over 7 years).  I do not have a landline, and my cell phone number is not published, so I am suspicious(especially since reading a previous entry above).  I know that it is easy to find anything on anyone these days, but why all of a sudden?  And I had that landline for years, my cell is a fairly new #.

yes they called me also today at 7am still at my sleep,and they called me yesterday when i was at work, and called me a month ago looking  for some francisco ;all of the time a call and say this is not francisco please stop calling ,but well just watch. i started calling them and making pranks like a while ago i told them that i was joe and they ask for my social i told them that i don't spit a social to strangers,she says my name is  michelle, in a broken accent,and a kept going taking there time away for 15 min. The lady is like, i can't find you in the system bla bla bla,anyways i will keep on calling  when ever i have time to kill, just to waste there time,since they  don't understand english.and i might send a beerbong threat ,you go figure that out.

Called me two times. One time was missed. Another time was that She wanted to look for Reginlo. This is a crazy number.

I get called and yelled at all the time by this company mostly from a man named Fred Cruz. He has been calling people I know out of state which is a violation of law. I have reported them to the States of TX an NH.

They call me daily and ask for somebody else. I have told them repeatedly that they have the wrong number and to stop calling my cell phone but they continue to call. I am thinking I am going to have to change my cell phone number to get them to stop.

yeah its a credit card collector if your not careful and pay they get really nasty and they will start calling your family and extended family they called my sisters husbands parents, how they got that number is beyond me really the best thing you can do is pay them off otherwise it gets worse they will yell and harass you on the phone and they dont even speak real english

My friend just called me and told me that someone called her house asking for me at her number.  When she asked what it concerned, he just said a BUSINESS MATTER.  Now the thing is, I have never given her phone number to anyone about anything until I went on a job hunt yesterday and used her name and number as a reference.  This really pisses me off if I find out they are using job applications to find people for credit collectors as I believe this is the only thing it could be.  I owe a bunch of medical bills, in over my head actually, but thats another story.  Cant pay it off till I get a job, people are gonna not be as good a reference if they have bill collectors calling cuz you gave their number on application.. bullcrap...
