Had to step in to help my elderly mother cope with credit card fraud and discovered that her bank account is being charged for TWO fraud detection services:  "Idsecur(month)" for $14.99/month, and "Privgrd(month)" for $13.99/month.  Regions customer service rep was not forthcoming about information on either of these companies.  Apparently they are for the same identity & credit card fraud "services".  Very sad when our elderly are so callously treated.

I just called this company. If you have this charge on your account it is because you aggreed to some "free" credit report check a couple months back. You have to call and cancel this or it starts to accre 12.99 per month. Scam artists!!!

I just called this number and they told me their product was for identity theft. they tried to sell me the product!I told me to take me off, and they said they would stop charging. What the heck? how did they even sign me up?!

Who is calling me at this number and tapping my bank account for 11.99?  Stop!!

I found out that this number is for privacy on your accounts however it has been cancelled as of immediately.  My husband did order it for a credit report but as I'm looking through all these complaints I cancelled it.  Make sure you check your account(s) just in case they pull this again.  BEWARE!!!!

Didn't get a call.  Charge of $129.99 against my check card.

Call the number back, they will try to sell you more membership but basically if you tell them you want to remove the charge and your "membership" they will fully refund you. You end up getting signed up if you cashed a check you received in the mail as a "rebate" from a purchase you made with a product. The tiny legal lines state you are signing up for a membership. You only have to give your mailing address to them.

THEY TOOK MY MONEY OF MY ACCOUNT AND I DIDNT TELL THEM TO DO THAT. I WAS SO UPSET BECAUSE IT WASN'T RIGHT...BUT THAT ALRIGHT THEY WILL GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK..."NOW"

12.99 has been taken out of my account for something, I did not authorize

I received the same type of charge for 11.99 from US Bank. Called the number people provided here and said it was privacy protection offered by USBank against credit fraud. I cancelled the enrollment and demanded a refund.

You're all idiots. Every one of you signed up for Privacy Guard on your own through your financial institution.

I received a call from this number and it's for a life insurance policy.  I went online to request some quotes earlier this week.  They were very polite and not at all pushy like most companies.  I read some of the other messages about money being debited from their debit/bank and I am not missing any money...I will keep checking my account though.

I just called that number. It's Privacy Guard. I demanded a refund for the 14.99 monthly fee they have charged from my account and said that I don't need their service!

I checked my online statement to find that a mysterious payee "800-238-7298 PRIVGRDJUN" had made an electronic debit of $12.99 from my account.  If this 1-800 number ever called me, I certainly never gave them any bank information.

I called the number and it is a credit privacy company. They said that I was probably signed up through Regions back. I demanded my money and after a fight they refunded both months they had taken out. Just call the number.

Is it safe to give them my information when I call them. They were asking for my   street address and other things I was unsure of.

I called the 800 number and they said that I had a membership through Regions and that was a bill from them protecting me from identity theft

I have had 2 withdrawals from my bank account from this mysterious privgrdjun for the amount of $12.99 each  we need to stop this s o b

I called these jerks and demanded a refund taking out $12.99 twice from my
bank account and I ask why he did this, but of course he was so faint couldnt
understand a word he was saying however i couild expect a complete refuind
of $25.98 in my account, as he said 3 to 4 working days, and my comment to him
was I will be looking for it and promised him that I will turn this over
to the District Attorneys Assn in Jackson, Miss and file charges against that
whatever and have him standing before a judge.  We will see

Taking advantage of elderly people that do not understand what they want or why they are calling.

I am getting the $12.99 deducted from my account with Regions Bank. I have spoken with anyone and have not authorized this withdrawal. I shall call this number and demand a refund. Apparently this is a common problem and it should be stopped.
