Just got a fax from 1-800-243-9210. Called back to ask some questions -- have a legitimate interest in merchant services and want to know more about this particular company. But once I began asking questions, I was hung up on. Called back four more times, talked to a different person each time, was hung up on each time! This is so bogus. How can I find out who these people are? I would like to report them to the FCC.

Got a fax from the people. They cost me money by using my paper and line.  As soon as I ask them a  question the they hung up. Don't call them to remove your fax number because that lets them know your fax is valid.  NO WAY SHOULD YOU GIVE THEM A CREDIT CARD NUMBER BECAUSE THEY WILL
JUST RIP YOU OFF.  THEY SHOULD BE SUED BECAUSE THEY ARE INFRINGING UPON THE TRADEMARK NAME OF THE COMPANY WHO OWNS THIS NAME.

These kind of unsolicited faxes from a blocked number on caller i.d. should be prohibited on a national level.  Too bad there isn't a $1500 fine for each one, like Indiana law allows. These scumbags give all legitimate businesses a bad name.

I called twice to request a fax no. When I requested the removal, both times JOHN would not allow me to speak and hung up on me twice.  Then it appeared my number was blocked from this no. (800-243-9210).  I called back on a different phone no. and the same thing happened again.

They say they are "merchant services" I asked what the company name was and they hung up.
I asked where they were from and hung up again.

after denying to meet with merchant services to review our credit card statements we started receiving faxes from them. i went to www.number-privacy.com but it seemed to be bogus as well. i probably just downloaded a virus instead of getting rid of spam-faxes.

Craigslist idea is great! Include their 1-800-243-9210 number because a live person actually picks up on that one. Could advertise something like used but working PS3 for $25 or case of Pampers $10-potty trained and no longer needed so it would generate a lot of calls.

I liked this idea. I have a laser printer so I made the entire page black and wrote in white reverse letters..."DON'T WASTE MY INK/TONER AND I WON'T WASTE YOURS. REMOVE (my fax number) FROM YOUR CALL LIST."  I am going to keep that sheet handy. Thanks for the idea!!

WowReally I did the same and it started blocking me and When I asked (four times what type of business it was the guy didn't say a thing and yes I was hung up on but at the very least they were as irritated as I was.
I also like the idea of sending their black black fax back to them.

I got a junk fax from them today advertising small business financing, while I was sitting by the fax machine. I immediately called the fax number removal line and put in my fax number, then called the 800 voice number and asked what I could do to stop getting on their lists, 'cause they waste paper, toner, and time for no good reason.  They asked for my fax number to remove it from the list, and I told them I had already called the removal line, but wanted to make it stick, because this was a never-ending process of 'opting out', so how do I opt out permanently?  They hung up on me.  So I repeated that voice call 3 more times, pretty well verbatim, getting hung up on each time, and after that, their system was blocking calls from my number - hopefully that also means I went onto another database of "never call" numbers.

We solved the paper and ink problem by letting our computer receive the fax. Now all we have to do is review and delete.

855 is a toll-free number.  But I won't call it either - this just confirms that your number is good.  Also, 855 might be in Canada and not the US, which makes the FCC powerless to do anything, so I won't bother to file with them either.  However, I will call it and enter the numbers of all the OTHER junk fax senders (I'm getting quite a collection) - that way this company will start sending junk faxes to other junk fax generating scum bags - this ties up lines for all companies involved, leaving less time to fax hardworking "real" people.  Not to mention that someone is going to pick up their phone and get a fax machine tone in their ear - this hurts a bit.

I told the idiot that answered the phone at 8002439210 that i refused to call the 8554670210 to stop the faxes. Even the sophisticated scammers use a tollfree number. Offereing some small business Financing in the next few day's. Really. Guess they won't recieve any business because there seems to be only one person answering the phone.

Here is a full proof way to stop the faxes. Post their 800 phone number online under a craigslist add for something popular or on one of those sex chat lines. Let's see how they like the 1000's of phone calls they start getting. If enough of us do this they, will stop. Could be a fun venture to imagine all the bizarre calls they get.

I am getting junque faxes from this firm as well. -  Buyer beware... stay away from whatever they're pitching.   If you try to contact them via the website they list - it comes up as an error.  The #  that was on my fax to get my capital was 800 249 0450.

This is the phone number given on an unsolicited fax to call for fax removal. The web site, www.fax-halt.com, was also bogus. Fax was for business capital stimulus money.

Got junk fax from this number offering small business stimulus capital. the unsubscribe web address: www.fax-halt.com, was not an valid address. The unsubscribe phone number, 866-212-4259 was also invalid.

I'm so tired of these junk FAX' using up my small company's ink and I'm on the no FAX list. I've been tracking down these return FAX numbers. I have a sheet of paper that's all black with a smaller square inside that I have written, "STOP WASTING MY INK I'M ON THE NO FAX LIST. I keep it next to our FAX machine and use it over & over again. It uses up their ink and it's cut down on the junk fax'. Especially from companies that go by different names. I've also found that lots of times the phone number is also the FAX number. I'm telling all my friends and think if we all did this it would cut down on a lot of waste. The number they give you on the bottom of the FAX to make it stop doesn't help.

Rude as hell - called multiple times to get them to quit faxing me.  Constantly sends out junk faxes.

Junk fax for... either trying to sell credit card processing service to our business or offering us a loan, or both. Confusing, scammy as snake oil, and no identifying remarks or names.
