I believe Albanian mafia is behind Primo Communications. Stay away....

I signed up for Primo Communications for my long distance provider and was excited about the low rates they offered. What I did not know and found out later (I should have done my research better) is that they are scam artists. They have charged my credit/debit card with the payment with out my authorization and with out my knowledge twice. Their explanation was that I probably forgot that I called and made the payment, that someone else from my household called with my information, why would they only take the exact amount, was I not intending to make the payment  ... Reading some of the other reviews I notice now a repeating pattern of their lies. I have canceled their services and my bank is disputing the charges they made on my card for me. I have also been charged for phone calls I never made and billed twice for some. I have reported them to the BBB and I am making every one aware of their FRAUD. I also found out they have been sewed for not paying their RA Fees.

How many of you use Primo Communications for your phone provider and how many of you have looked at your phone bill from them and found phonecalls you've never made to phone numbers that you recognize? We are currently looking at a phone bill for example that I have called my friend long distance once since I have moved, spoke with her for an hour and then they have added multiple one hour conversations with that number that I never made. We are a romanian family and use it to call Romania and the people we talk to to manage the bill are as well. I think this is a large scam going on. Any other people?

i work in Romania like telemarketer ,when they explaine how is it that job and we make pisst off people ,i quit.is not from Romania that job and is illegal ,also i make notice and i fide a amaizing thing about that .and is not good ,they still that telefhone numbers ,and we call or live massaging .and that is about only people who livs in America but is romanian people and they know romanian language ...
and that phone nr is:1-877-640-6167,do not answer ! sorry .that company is not in America but they act like he was there .bee where!

I`m also romanian, using enjoyprepaid (nobel) calling cards, have the cell phone number registered with them so it won`t ask for a password when using the calling card. Got a call from same number, a romanian guy was offering to sell some calling plans. Annoying... I got the feeling he`ll call again unfortunatelly :(

Here's another variation on the Romanian connection.  I received a call from this number yesterday (Feb 14) on my cell phone.  I am not Romanian but I use my cell phone to call my elderly father in an adult family home (that is, a private home whose owners make their living by caring for several elderly people who live in their home) in Seattle.  The owners and operators of that home are Romanian and when I call my father I call their land line telephone, and very occasionally their cell phone.  I was out jogging (without my cell phone) when this number called me yesterday, so I didn't answer the call and the caller didn't leave a message.

My final post on this:  The connection to my desk phone and why Primo is calling my cell phone and my desk phone within a minute of each other is this:  My mom have used NECC to call both my cell phone and my desk phone in the past.  So basically, what I am implying is that NECC sold Primo communication my parent's NECC call history.  Oh the joys of modern life! No privacy!

I have found another connection. My parents, who have used NECC to call long-distance to Romania, have also been harassed by Primo Communications on many occasions.  I looked into this further, and I found this link: http://www.puc.state.pa.us/electric/pdf/InEx_Res_NS_TARC_072704.pdf  On this listing, NECC and Primo Communications are both listed, and the contacts for BOTH companies have Romanian last names!!!

Anybody else on here who is Romanian and uses nobelcom.com to get their Romania phone cards?  There might be a connection there... Please answer anonymously so this can be figured out.  I would love to know who these people are, they are really really getting on my nerves.

This phone number 18002461474.  It keeps calling me on my cell phone, usually during daylight workday hours.  Last time they called a robot just said hello and hung up.  Even more annoying, what prompted me to look into them, is today they not only called my cell phone, but then one minute later they called my desk phone at work.  That's when I totally freaked out.  I was like, "Who the heck are these people, and why are they invading my privacy so blatantly?"  The interesting thing is I am also Romanian (although in my experience I do not ever remember a real person on the other end asking me anything...).  I rarely ever give out my desk phone number when a blank form asks for my work number.  Usually I just give the main line.  And the only company that would know I am Romanian is nobel.com, from where I buy my phone cards to call Romania, but I never gave them my work desk phone number, as far as I can tell.  I am baffled by who this telemarketing this is that knows 1) my cell phone, 2) my desk phone direct line, and 3) apparently according to other comments on here, there is a Romanian connection.

i got this call while taking a test, so i never got to answer. But i AM romanian (and speak it fluently) so maybe there is a connection.......

These people have been calling for months on my house and cell phone. A couple times, they actually spoke to me and said they are calling from "Primo Communication" and they were trying to convince me to use their long distance service.I told them many times to take my number off their list, but no success.We should all report them to Better Bussiness Bureau

Weird...I get a phone call a day from these people and I dont even get to say hi and they hang up on me...

Same thing happend to me just a minute ago. He kept on asking if I spoke Romanian. I answered: "Why are you asking?" and he hanged up.

The person (male)asked me if I spoke romanian...when I asked who it was he refused to answer asking again and again if I spoke romanian. finally when I said "no" he hang up. very rude tone...
