number-privacy.eu is likely a honeypot (perhaps to determine which fax #s are actually checked), based on the WHOIS information.

Same thing with me I let them know it was a scam and the guy got mad and told me he was going to send me faxes all day long and I told him I'd call the cops

I have been receiving JUNK faxes from someone offering SMALL BUSINESS FINANCING..

My fax # is listed with "do not call"...the latest fax shows time as " 18:24:42"..(unreal!)

It does not show my #..  I called the 800 # (above) and someone did answer.  I played along for a
minute.  His first question was "How much money do you run through your credit card sales".
I asked him to tell me more about the company before I give him such details.  He said,thank you
for calling and hung up. I am guessing It is some kind of a credit card scam.

What can be done?  Isn't there an international arm of  the FTC.?  The fax rings morning, noon and
night...and shows that the caller number is unavailable!  SOmetimes a fax comes through and
most often...nothing.  At least that doesn't use my ink!   Thanks for your help FTC

I am afraid to do either. on some occasions I have returned a marked up fax...depends on the
prefix #,,,I think that this sender is same as I have been receiving for many years from various
"companies".  I have a drawer where I stash these but filling out a lengthy form for the FTC...?
I have become a doubter in my old age...why can't I just send the whole packet to them with a
short note with my name, address, e-mail address and fax #.  THey can see themselves what
they need...I don't know what most of these faxes are selling or scamming.  FTC sent a packet of
10 pages of questions for me...I still have it...printed in 2007.

Got three phone calls before 8 a.m.....nuisance rings.....no fax.....finally came through.....some email about "small business financing".

The bottom said you could remove the fax by calling 855-467-0210....naturally, a toll call.

Also, I fear the number to cancel could be a scam in which I'm charged $99 for the call.

Most of these calls come from Canada....that way they're immune (I think)

Same business as described in ALL of these requests.  Small Business Financing, 800-246-2160 via fax.  Make them stop!  Or...how about a fax # for them, so I can return the favor?

illegal unsolicited fax - $1,500 fine...please send send the check ASAP or I'll have the sheriff make you send the check.

I questioned these people about repeated fax spam. They swore at me and also said offensive lewd things and hung up each time. If they are the Merchant Services that process my credit card business transactions I will change.

Pure scam and illegal practice.  They change numbers regularly and it is impossible to cancel their faxes via the methods they describe.  This site, 800notes.com, does not take action but provides a forum to share information about these scams.  If you wish to take action, this is the agency you wish to visit: http://www.ftc.gov/

This illegal faxing company is based in Germany.  Their fax has a "remove from list" address " www.number-privacy.eu" site which has no way of entering the number to be removed.... a scam.  They offer Small Business Financing...and must be a scammer that you should ignore..   we just set our fax machine on repeat....and send 24 messages to them at the 800-246-2160 number...with our printer off..... and they should be getting our calls for the next few days...hope that this stops their business .....

AS YOU ALL KNOW, NO FAX MACHINE WILL PRINT OUT THOSE FAX WITHOUT THE INK IN THE MACHINE  AND WITH THIS BAD ECONOMY WE DO NOT WANT TO SPEND MONEY UNNECESSARILY TO REPLACE INKS TONER JUST BECAUSE OF THIS UNSOLICITED BIG, DARK AND BOLD CHARACTERS THESE PEOPLE HAVE SENDING THROUGH OUR FAX MACHINE ASKING US TO CALL THEIR 800-246-2160 FOR SMALL BUSINESS FINANCING.

WHEN I CALLED THIS NUMBER YESTERDAY BEGGING THEM NOT TO WASTE MY INK TONER ANY MORE BECAUSE I AM NOT INTERESTED IN THIS KIND OF FAX THEY HAVE BEEN SENDING, THEN THE MAN WHO TOOK MY CALL GOT MAD AND CALLED ME "CRAB" THEN HUNG UP ON ME.  I CALLED BACK TO LET HIM KNOW I HAVE BEEN OPTING OUT FROM THE NUMBER THE OFFER HERE, BUT THEY STILL KEEP ON FAXING THE SAME BIG BOLD ADS WHICH HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ME.  THEN HE HUNG UP AGAIN ON ME.

AND NOW, I HOPE WHOEVER IS IN CHARGE OF THIS REPORT WILL DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT, AND CALL THE 800-246-2160 TO STOP OR CUT DOWN ON FAXING ALL THESE JUNKS TO PEOPLE LIKE ME, EVEN WHEN I OPT OUT, BUT THEY STILL DO IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
