Courtesy call from Farmer's Insurance to tell you that your policy is about to renew

I am really getting sick and tired of these so-called 'Courtesy calls from Farmer's Insurance'. Our policy isn't even up yet and won't be until the middle of July, 2008 and they have been calling at all hours of the day and night and when you pick up the phone, there is NOTHING...no recording, no information on the caller id, etc. and it took me a little bit of investigation on the web to find out who the phone number belongs to.

It is getting to the point of where we are becoming so frustrated and angry, that we are thinking of cancelling our policy and finding another company.  To us...any company that is so desperate that it has to call over a month in advance to when it is due, 'courtesy' or not, it is a major annoyance.

i agree, I called my Farmers Insurance agent and asked to be taken off their reminder list, and still wasting my phone time.

We don't even HAVE Farmer's Insurance.  They call several times a day, every day.  They always ask for me by first and last name...

Same nuisance calls from Farmers Insurance.  I am already on their internal DNC list, but apparently they don't care about following those rules.

Just an unnecessary automated call from Farmers Insurance using up my cell phone minutes to tell me what I already know.

Courtesy call (recording) from Farmers Insurance alerting me my auto insurance policy was up for renewal soon and telling who my agent is and his phone number in case I had questions and needed to contact him.

GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER.....TURNED OUT TO BE FARMERS HOME OWNERS INSURANCE DIVISION.....I HAVE A POLICY WITH THEM WHICH WAS RENEWING....APPARENTLY NO BIG DEAL.
