rec'd a fax saying they finance small businesses and can offer $5,000 to $500,000 and to CALL 800-251-2840 for pre-qualiticiation. On the bottom of the fax it states to be removed go to www.DATAREMOVAL.ORG.

Unsolicited fax ads are illegal. It's against FCC rules. But if you steal 2 cents of ink and paper from a million stupid, lazy Americans... not one of them will complain.
BTW - 2 cents times a million is $20,000.
Get even with these scammers and call their 1-800-251-2840 number about 6 times and then hang up. The phone call is free! Tie up their phones for a while. Annoy the hell out of them for a change. If the same million Americans did once every time they got an unsolicited fax we would stop getting these faxes pretty quickly. 6 million hangups? How fun would that be!

Called the number. Some guy said their name was "Merchant Services". Wouldn't give me their location or any information about the company. It's probably one of those scammers who asks for money up front to finance the loan and then you never get any money and lose what you sent them. DO NOT do business with them.

number-privacy's IP is 91.189.121.10 which is assigned to Multihost IT in Norway. You can try complaining to Multihost at abuse@multihost.no and ask that number-privacy be shut down.

Junk fax with no company name listed. Trying to give us a small-business loan. Contact listed as 800-251-2840, removal number and website given as 877-527-2359 and "www.number-privacy.com", whose information is blocked from a WHOIS lookup.
