Extremely annoying to recieve these calls several times per day. No one answers if you do pick up. Have been enrolled in the DoNotCall site since its inception.

12/12/09 i had a call and they claimed they were from citi card and wanted to offer me something or other. i don't have a citi card, called them a fraud and hung up. when i tried to call back the number i got a message that the number is 'not in service'

1-800-251-6864  Calls at least once a day.  Nobody answers.  DNC list is a Farce.

Keep callinf all time of day and night.

Harrasing phone call to me.  I am disabled and it is difficult getting to the phone.  I want them to stop calling me.

When i see that number i pick the phone up but don't say anything:  Neither Do the other side.

Calls frequently during the day to a business telephone number with no message, just blank.

Same as everyone else, calls, leaves no number, I NEVER answer it.  Went to Best Buy and got a new phone system, 2 phones for $70 but it has a BUILT IN service that you place these numbers in (up to 30)and the phones rings once and then disconnects that caller.  LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Calls but doesn't leave a message

I called 800-251-6781 about the annoying Shell Credit Card Marketing effort, entered my phone number, was then added to a Shell Credit Card Do Not Call listing - which is supposed to take effect in thirty days or so. The next call I get from them, I will answer that I am on their Do Not Call list and to cease all further communication efforts. We'll see if it works.

You can block their number if you have a Voice Over IP phone (VOIP)service, like Vonage, AT&T.  I have AT&T's VOIP and I can block out up to 20 phone numbers, my list is at 12, oh wait, 13 now that I am adding this 800 number.  It helps, but doesn't account for the wrong these phone scammers are able to do.

Got these folks on the line, and they HUNG UP on me when I explained that I was hard-of-hearing, and that they'd need to slow down and speak up.

Don't want to talk to me?  Then don't call in the first place.

Left no msg on my answering machine.

Same exact deal as MW, but they keep calling.  This is insane that we pay for a phone service that we cannot CHOOSE who we receive calls from.  We need to band together and FORCE the phone service providers to add specific number blocking.

Received multiple calls over the past two weeks from 1-800-251-6864.  Today, I decided to answer.  The representative asked for my husband to which I replied he was not available; and may I ask who's calling?  Representative said, "No.  I'll call back" then immediately hung up the phone.  Representative did NOT announce who she was or whom she was representing.  

Irritated at the number of calls received and the lack of professionalism when I did answer, I tried calling the same number back only to receive an automated attendant stating, "The number you have called is currently not in service; Message 602."

For any of you receiving a call from this number, personally I would not answer the call; but I would further report to the Do Not Call agency.

Called at midnight on our business line. Recorded message for credit cards or something like that. Will be reported to the FTC.

Called, asked for husband by name. When I reported that he was not home, they hung up. Probably the Shell gas again.

I JUST GOT A CALL FROM 800-251-6864. IT IS FROM SHELL GAS CREDIT CARDS WANTING TO DO A MARKETING PROGRAM.

Did not answer.  Calls everyday around 12pm - 2pm

They are the same as 866-685-6826  scam
