Friends when they call u ask them for their tollfree.no,  extension.no & their name, and immediately call them on their toll-free number to check whether they are legimate or not ,,

Sounds like a scam?? do u nutheads even know how expensive purchasing a new connection is?? We get equipments free and special discounts. I at first thought that it was a scam,spoke to a lady named Annie she told me about the charges but never mentioned details such as contract, $49.99 processing fees, but then a guy named Ray fernandez called (ext 16525 if i remm) was cool, explained me the entire scheme and believe me its good...i called this week to tell him my sister needed one too but seems he left the job..sad

i had exactly the same situation yesterday,  so 49.99 was the only thing they charged you? or they told you you had a contract also?

This company called me, some guy named Kevin at x16073 called and wanted my credit card information and they wanted anybodys information that had a major credit card or debit card. they chose her number for this service and this is my home number and i dont know how many other people had gotten this before me. they want to offer me no connection fees and box fees all they need to do is get my credit card information and they would give me my $25 back on my first bill. this is a scam! DO NOT DO IT!

I just got this new number and the only one to call it the next say was Samual Bourdan extension 16043 and he said he was from dish netork.  He offered access for 3 TVs for 49.95 with a 15.00 discount for the first 3 months making it only 34.95.  I asked about internet service and he said they had it from 19.95 to 49.95 but would not provide details until I signed up for service.  He wanted a deposit on 49.95 to guarantee this service at a later date plus an installation fee of $25 which would be refunded in 3 days.  This totally sounds like a scam to me.

New phone, getting calls from this co asking my nieghbor across the hall who had let me use her phone # to get mine installed. Am also registering report of this number with FCC

I just had a bad experience with an online ad for dish.. through dishpronto.. phone 1-800-381-4498. From what I csn tell now they are a complete scam. Noone speaks without an accent through the company. They did not send email confirmation of the offer I registerd for. I stopped my card a day too late as they charged me 49.99 just for ?? "processing my order" with no setup of service arranged. Not only are their accents thick but you can tell they are very far away... that million mile away buzz is on the phone when you speak with them. Furthermore.. a little too late... I checked with Better Business Bureau and they have a bad report.
Now what to do????

YEA THEY CALLED ME TO AND ASK FOR MY INFORMATION AND THEY CAN GOT ME SEVICES FOR LIKE FOR 14.99 AND WHEN TO CALL BACK I THINK ITS BE FISHY

I received the exact same call.  Person saying they are from Dish Network.  Said his name was Prince William.  Then ask for my husbands SSN because it was in his name.  I did not give it to them.  He then asked for a major credit card # to pay the 14.99 fee.  I did not give them that information either.

I'm talking to them right now, they seem really fishy, they asked for ssn of other family members,

I searched this number and got this number. as soon as he gave me my account number for Dish Net. i went to their website and tried to sign up for online services and it DID work. They are legitimate. But i did not give then my S.S.# on the last 4 digits

I recived a call from the same number trying to sell me a satalite for nothing down except a 14.99 charge using my debit card. I did NOT give my info out because I was not sure if this was authentic or a scam.

The caller claims to be from Dish network. The actual company is "dishpronto".

Not sure, if this is what he claims.
