I just tell them that is why I have house insurance against thief. I'll give the thieves  a suitcase to haul away my worthless jewelry and collect from my insurance company. When they tell me about fire, I tell them I am ready for new appliances in the house. Or you can tell them Mr Legal Shotgun might convince the thieves  to leave.

answered the phone and the woman thought I was my husband. I said do I sound like ---, who is calling please/ She hung up. Dialed the number back after looking it up and got a man who swore that he did not call me. He said "you dialed in on a 1-800 number right? Please don't call me again. I am goiing to end this call and hang up." I said dont call me back either!

if you calling our home you should talk with respect and you can ask do you speak in english ,so learn how to talk to people then you will make business

I got a call from someone who uses my first name as though they know me. I ask who is this? They reply Slomins home security. You do know who that is Mary? Yes I reply. Do you currently have a home security system in place? That is none of your business. I hang up. This call was recieved after 9pm. This call disturbed me and it even interfered with my sleep. The BTK killer worked for a major home security company and used it as a tool to find his victims. Who are these telemarketers? Are criminal backround checks done on them? They are calling into peoples homes late in the evening using their first names asking if they have security systems? Slomins needs to be stopped.

I've been receiving calls from this number approx. once a week for the last year and a half on my home landline. They never say anything or leave a message on my answering machine, they just hang up.

I called the number. its slomans alarm company. She was very polite.They said I was called in error.

Called personal cell phone. Said he was from Slomin's oil. Soliciting to switch to them. My house was just hit but hurricane Irene. I'm like are you f'ing kidding me? Do you think this is really on our minds right now? He's like yea I know. Reporting them to donotcall.gov because my number is listed.

Well I got a call from them and insted of saying anything the person alughted then hung up I called back and the guy told me to go F my self, I reported them to the BBB it said "Slomins Shield Sec." on the collar ID

just had  the same experience as  some- pick up and they hang up- i-how do you get them to stop???????

They called my private office line after I'd already left for the day. No idea who they are. Assuming it's a telemarketer.

The 800 #'s are always calling. Recently, 800 252 7663 called and I didn't pick up. I have no idea why these #s randomly calls all day when I'm unavailible, but it can get so annoying and want ppl to tell them cross their # out of their lists!

called at nearly 9pm, very annoyed they called this late. a female answered and said she was from Slomin's Security. we told her never to call again and she said she would take us off the list, but that remains to be seen.

*69 gave me this number. They've called me before. I get 2-3 unwanted SPAM calls a day from one number or another on my home landline.

I answer and they say nothing. What's worse is that it's on my cell phone.

I received calls from this company too. I also took Tony's advice and filled out a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

I received a call from this # today at work office phone.

I would recomend filing a complaint at www.bbb.org   ...  You can do this in under two minutes and this is the kind of thing that makes a difference with these people.

I got a call from this number, it is Slomins Shield Security.  Spread the word, this is a garbage company calling people without permission using a predictive dialer.  Can you trust a company that's willing to harass people people over their cellphones without permission for an extra buck?  The answer, my friends, is no you cannot.

This number is to Slomin's Shield. I called it back and asked them to take me off their calling list. The girl was polite and apologized for all the phone calls and said we'd be taken off the telemarketing list. They've called before and we told them we already have an alarm system.

I was screening. Caller hung up without leaving a message. Don't have Caller ID, so I *69'd to get this #. Google search says it's Slomin's Home Security. I assume it's a telemarketing call.

just had  this number appear on my caller ID-picked up they hang up--these  on wanted  calls and hang up seem to be  more  frequent  now---why-and do they actually have a business or cause-do not  call does not  stop them
