Got a call from my place of work. I haven't given out my work number. I know this because I work in the warehouse and don't actually know the number to the front office. I don't know who this is, but I've tried to call them back multiple times and they haven't answered.

This call is from RGL Associates, medical collection agency, GA

they called my house looking for a relative and asking for a cell number..can they do this legally?

I received a voicemail message from someone at this number stating that she needed to speak with me regarding a "very important personal matter" (she actually said that twice)! After she stated her name she proceeded to tell me which company she was with...which conveniently got muffled out by background noise! I also noticed the number on my missed calls list was 912-912-9129, something very "fishy" about the whole thing!

The people from this number keep calling my house asking for Ann Davis.  This has  been going on for at least 2 years.  Now they are leaving messages stating that Ann Davis looked up health insurance information on the internet and they were returning her call.  I don't know Ann and Ann has never lived in my house.  I think they look up a name and just start calling it hoping they will find who ever they are looking for.

OH-- but the mess. said they were NOT a collection agency! lol

It is RGL Associates in Georgia.  It is a collection agency.  I have a medical bill in collections and pay bi-weekly.  She calls me every other Friday and I make my payment over the phone.  They are very easy to work with and set up payment plans if you need them.

Someone left a message asking to call this number. Who is it?
