Sears about order I placed; saying its ready for pickup; left message

Sears is a U.S. based company? They just have a North American toll-free number based out of a U.S. prefix. And it's an auto-dialer, it's not like anyone lost a job here, no reason to be upset.

Seriously, it's just Sears catalogue - at least in Canada. If you haven't ordered with them, maybe someone made an honest to goodness error, which does happen from time to time. Just pick it up, and once you hear the 10 second announcement, just hang up. It will stop.

Call from this number logged on my cell phone, no message left.  A dubious call which I resent given others experiences.

this call comes from sears canada , its an automated reminder and you have to say ,! hello whoes calling and whats the nature of your call please and if some mousey little man starts to to beat around the bush about the call then just remember its someone else with some unnessesary lip ,lol,lol. but truely speaking its sears calling you>................art

Sears Canada notification for catalog / online order.

Nice that they're using a U.S. company to handle this (U.S. based toll-free number).

We have had calls from this number, all legitimate, concerning items ordered from the Sears catalog, either to let us know the item is delayed or it is ready for pick-up.  If we don't answer they always leave a message.

Appears to be a phishing fraud attempting to obtain credit card numbers.

They phoned twice today, but when we pick up the phone, and wait for someone to say something, there is no-one there.

It could very well be Sears, but why does call-display say unknown? And they don't say anything when we answer?

This number is from Sears Canada Catalogue services.
Its an automated messaged telling you that your Sears online order has arrived and is ready for pickup.  

They DID leave a voicemail, so to those who complain no voicemail was left - check that your voicemail is actually able to receive/save messages!

Glad they have this calling service.  After 10 or so days, the order is returned back to the warehouse.  Im my opnion, its a helpful and useful phone call and glad they have it.

This is Sears number for ordering. It is on the front page of most of their catalogues.

Keep those lines open, sometimes we forget that we bought from Sears. That's a reminder. So where's the beef?

If you purchased some items from Sears, it is them calling to advise you that the item has arrived and ready for pick up.

Sears automated call. Why do retailers not identify themselves? Surely they have learned by now that many people will not answer unidentified calls? I only answered because I happened to be reading this page when the latest call came through. Now I have to check with my wife to find out if she has placed an order which, of course, I cannot pick up on her behalf (at least, last time she had a parcel to pick up).

Yes - Sears calling to say my order is in.  HOWEVER......I made a point of requesting they DO NOT call to tell me my order is in.  I requested it the last time as well and my request was ignored.  I made a huge deal about it for this order, requesting NO PHONE CALLS - but obviously they ignored it AGAIN!  I'm  pretty ticked off about this.  I guess I will have to give them a wrong number the next time - like the number the guy called from the air duct cleaning service yesterday!!!  Yep - that's what I will do.

Yes, it really is Sears, no it is not a scam, they actually called to tell us that our order is awaiting pick up. To the parinoid people that don't us, if you googled the number and got here it must be true, we are not all collection agencies waiting to nab you.   IT IS JUST GOOD OLD SEAR's.

Yes I ordered a watch fom Sears at my local outlet  - the service person said it should by in 3 days from placement of order an Sears notified my through this number 3 days later .

Im in Ontario -Canada - an the call came in around 11:30 am - 3 days later .

I was told I would only be called once an they hold the order for 15 days before sending it back to warehouse .

So its a company Im doing active business with  ,

They just called me. Its Sears telling me my order is ready for pick-up. And oddly enough, I placed an order with them!
