Got a call from 800 268-6870 at 6:42AM on a Sunday! No message was left. I called the number back and they claim to be an alarm monitoring company. I have no alram system. ?????

Very unprofessional, and a scam! The idiot who calls even forgets who hes calling and is like um and misspells your company name! You're paying them to call late hours every so often cause it makes them legit! Meanwhile they have your company or home info, cause we trust! This is Canada right? They call and pretend that they are calling regarding the pre-authorized payment for an Alarm system (AS IF YOU'VE ALREADY SIGNED-UP).
and get you to call them back!

It's not Monitoring station's issue, it is because the security company who installed your alarm system did not set up proper procesures.

This is a security company who responded when my house alarm was tripped. Oddly, they did not follow procedure when no one answered their call, so maybe it's time to find a new monitoring company. Meh.
