The caller left no voice message.

They call me once per month never saying anything-so I just automatically t/off my answerring machine now when I see them on the caller ID. I have complained numerous times with the FTC form, but they (FTC) are either overwhelmed, or don't follow up any complaints.

Idiots called again last night at 8:55, and as usual, left no message.

I received a call from 205-402-4645 and when I answered they hung up.  I called the number back and got a recording that says "This is not a working number."  If it's not a working number, how did they call out on it.  I'm on the DO NOT CALL list but it does not help one bit.  I still get all these crazy calls and they all want money.  If I gave to everyone that called, I'd not have enough to pay my bills.

The caller hung up when I picked up the phone.  I have my doubts that it's from the Alabama Sherrif donation because why would they hang up?  May report this to the police!

This number is a solicitation from the Alabama Sherriff's trying to collect donations. Received the call tonight at 8:41pm.

I get this same call many times. When I answer they hang up. very strange.

I just had the same thing happen...when I answered they hung up. This is the 2nd time they have called, but the first time I wasn't home to answer and (big surprise) they left no message. What I want to know is once you answer, do they continue to call back or is that the end of it?

I got this call and no one said anything. I called the number back and it rang 2 or 3 times then I got a recording saying that this number could not be completed as dialed. I dialed it just like it came on the caller ID. Area code included. We called the operator and she decided to give the number a call. She said that it was not a working number. How can a non working number make a phone call? It shows up on the caller ID as Birmingham Alabama and the number with it. That's all the info I have on it.

same thing here, no voice on the other end. just hung up when I answered.

The caller wasn't there or said nothing.  Does anyone know this #?
