I recently applied to the Federal Education Dept for a specific program having to do with my student loans. Ever since I have been getting phone calls every morning between 8:00am & 9:30AM from ERC, which, according to their website has something to do with student loan or education loan payments. I have no idea who these people are. I had never heard of them prior to their harassing phone calls.

This phone once belonged to an elderly lady name of Vivian King.  I have this number since July 2012-to present.  Many calls for her.  I do not know her.  I am not her nor am I her relative.  Will all the collection agencies pleas back off.  It is on record at Marion County  Florida Clerk of Court and Property appraiser that she is deceased.  6 Months of these calls are enough.  Do your own home work.  I am asleep at 8 a.m. each morning.

f*** you scraggly a** predator so low on the food chain your only career is that of intimidating, lying, and criminal behavior for a company that deserves to be prosecuted.

Leave your f****ng name and company address so people can send a cease and desist and then report you to the ftc. c***sucker.

May all the trauma you inflict on others whether they had debts or not be multiplied on you by 1000x when you find out you're expendable and no longer employed or employable.

I've been bugged for the past couple of years by numerous collection companies.  I have a common name so I get confused with the debtor they are looking for.  One thing to remember when getting these calls, they don't leave messages.  If they do, some are recorded messages that tell you if you are not the person they are looking for to not listen to the following message.  It's a joke.  They will keep calling for a couple of months tops if they are not answered, but it will start up again as they hand off the debt to some other company.

I also have a Magic Jack and dont know how they would get this #. They call day and night and never leave a message. They call from 2 different #'s.

I have now had this phone number  for just about two months and about 90% of all the calls I get are bill collecters so far they  have asked for six differnt people at this number people I tell them I never heard of that person and take this number of their call list they still call backI now tell them they now charge them $50.00 a call and give them and give them two weeks to pay me or I will turn them in to a collection agency I turned one in to collections today for $350.00

No idea who they are either, they didn't leave a message and I also have magic jack and have no idea how they got my phone number since it is an internet number and not listed anywhere.

Do what I do...I only put my cellphone down on financial forms.  Therefore, if I fall into arrears and have to deal with debt collectors, I program the phone to ring silently and, therefore, go straight to voicemail.  If they leave messages, check them after the evening and weekend minutes go into effect.

WTF? These morons just called my house at 8:15am!!! I didn't answer & they didn't leave a message. Who are they??

Calls and leaves a message from Chelsea to call Enhanced Recovery Corporation. Not wasting my time calling back about someone I do not know.

Calls frequently but doesn't leave number. When I called back they answered ERC. Each time I called back it was a different representative answering and they wouldn't give me any info unless I gave them mine first. It is undoubtably a collection agency.

Do what I did to get rid of these pests.  Switch your land line to a VOIP like Vonage, or better still Phonepower.com  Those types of services allow you to create blocked incoming call lists so these jerks automatically get sent to Voicemail, a forwarding number you specify (like a local escort service or zoo), or a busy signal every time they call.

These morons cannot get it through their heads that I am Not my ex.  He departed the marital residence over 3 years ago and left the state.  I filed for divorce very quickly afterwards and therefor have absolutely no liability for what he has done financially since - a matter of legal fact.
Throughout the marriage, I never joined him in financial doings but instead maintained my own financial independence.  I am Not liable for his debts - and especially those created since the day I filed for divorce!  I don't know where he lives, so simply give them his mommy and daddy's address and phone number (they created the monster).  Hell, he owes me money too!
These debt collecting idiots must have been the tards who never graduated from high school - let alone college.  Clearly these are the dregs who can't make it in the real world, in a real job, alongside the normal, hardworking and educated crowd.  They clearly do not comprehend the english language - I wonder if they could comprehend the sound of a canned airhorn...

This number keeps calling me and is leaving a message this call is for and hangs up. I am not sure who it is but they can stop calling anyting and stop using my cell min. up.

Consumer Portfolio-Collection agency for car loan!

They called me today on my magicjack voip phone number. I have no idea how they got this number as it's an internet phone number which I just got and can't be found anywhere and I don't owe anyone any debts. There was someone called Debbie in the recorded message but when it came the time to mention the name whom they were calling for, it was silence. I almost am coming to think thet are a harrassing company that do this for fun.

I get frequent calls on my voicemail from this number. There's no way to reach a real person to tell them I have no idea who the person is they're looking for, and to leave me the heck alone. I changed my previous phone number b/c I got calls for Heather and Richard Bazemore for 3 years and they wouldn't stop calling. This is wrong! I pay for my phone and it's for my convenience, not for unknowns to make harassing calls.
