Call was from 515-324-5068, tried to call back three times? Mention something about recovery.

This is an outside debt collector for Wells Fargo credit cards. They identify themselves as Wells Fargo Bank but they are not as such they are required to abide by the Standards of Fair Debt Collections; but of course they do not.

This person called me but refused to say anything but their supposed first name.  I ask repeatedly who they were with, but they refused to tell me unless I told them first who I was.  I am more than happy to talk to my creditors if they would identify themselves, but if they refuse then I hang up.

I too got a call from WELLS FARGO on my voice m.I did not call them back, but called my wells fargo customer service # to inform them about this 800 #.Customer service from wells fargo called that 800#,& they inform me that it was a debt collection.Sometimes the debts they try to collect are invalid.Wells fargo inform them that it was not me.They will take may number off the list.

My company got the current phone number when I moved within the same town ten months ago.  The number was previously assigned to a deadbeat woman that owed Wells Fargo and everybody else money.  I have been getting calls from Wells Fargo for ten months.  I tell them that my business now has the number. I give them the name of my phone company and tell them to verify that my business  now has the number and has had it for ten months. The calls keep coming and coming every month and often several times per week.  There is something very wrong about this. They tie up my business phone and will not take the number off the list.

WELLS FARGO, LISTEN UP.  Based on this treatment from your company, I will not ever bank at Wells Fargo.  I have business and personal and CD accounts that you will never see.

They call me about a relative's past due account.  They call home number after 9pm, ring only 3 times and hang up.  Then they immediately try cell phone and ring that 2x and hang up.  It seems like a tactic--they dial but have no intention of speaking with someone.
Caller id says 800 service.  Call it and the message says Wells Fargo.

When I called the number. It was an auto answer and the lady states "WELLS FARGO". I spoke to a lady-I didn'get her name- and I asked if recovery services is within WELLS. She said yes.
