This number constantly calls at least twice a day, 4x a week and calls at the worst times of the day (rush hour, lunch hour, late at night).  They never leave a message and if you call back, tell them the person they are trying to reach is not available.  Get this number on the do not call list, because they are causing harassment.

This phone number is notorius in doing the following: they will call and hang up, never leave a message and then will call back in a few minutes with one or two rings on your phone, then nothing.

Beware of this scam and have this number locked on the do not call list.

Same here!  I got a recording asking me to confirm that I was the mother of my son by his name, and after I press one that hung up on me. when I called back they would not answer any questions for me either until I gave them more information, I told them I would give them nothing because there's no reason for a 13 year old boy to personal business matters. we literally got a screaming match because he would not tell me anything. watch out for things like the people steal children's social security numbers all the time. I think that they won't give us their business name because they don't want to be reported.

This number has been stalking me every couple of days for months.  Like other people said, I answered it once and hit "1" but then no one was there.  I figured it was a scam.  I had used Walgreens clinic once over a year prior but everything was paid....or so I thought.  I got sick of the calling so I decided to call Walgreens and confirm there was nothing wrong.  Turns out my old insurance had denied to pay for my PPD and I did owe them a whole 28 dollars.  Maybe now this number will leave me alone.

Hackers. Scam artists. Apparently people respond when they are threatened over the phone and actually give out money to people to get them off their backs. The callers use sophisticated methods to block the number they are really calling from...which is usually out of the country. Do not answer unknown calls on your phone, block them.

This is from a pay day loan scam. Everest cash advance was hacked and now these people want to intimidate you into paying money you do not owe. Do not give any info. Block the call.

Supposedly Debt collector from Walgreens Care clinic.  I think it is a scam because Walgreens was hacked and now our consumer info has been leaked to god knows who and they are asking for CC info to pay charges?  I DON'T THINK SO!  If this happens to you please do yourself a favor and call Walgreens Clinic directly to inquire about the supposed charges....

Please do not pay this debt collector....Call Walgreens Clinic directly to verify.  Claimed they were collecting an almost 4 year old charge.  Why wouldn't they bill me in the four years since then or contact me prior to today??  I am furious about this.  I am sure this company is a SCAM and as I said call Walgreens directly to verify that you actually owe something

I got a call from them too. I have used a walgreens clinic last year but paid in full at the time of service.

Same thing happened to me. Asked who they were and they said that they could NOT give out that information.

This is a company named State Collection Service, website www.statecollectionservice.com, Walgreen's Take Care Clinic uses is Collection Agency. But be advised even if the bill have been paid the communication between the Take Care Clinic and Collection Agency is non existent. So there is a chance the bill was paid, but they were not informed.

They call like clock-work every morning waking me up from 1-800-275-0930--i work till late & it's very annoying. Don't answer if number is not recognized (scammers have ways of using your number once u answer & unauthorized charges will be on your bill using some type of reversal method). They never leave a message either of which they should if it's legit. I have visited a Walgreen's Clinic in the past, submitted my insurance, they didn't ask me to pay anything at time of visit, and I eventually got billed for an exorbitant amount of around $70.00 to have a person who was not a doctor prescribe antibiotics for a sinus infection. I did not receive a throat culture or any other type of testing & the medication was of course not included in this fee. I have good insurance so I don't understand why this is happening. I won't be using this clinic in the future.

This number has called me every single business day for a month. I answered once by accident and heard silence for a few seconds and then an automatic recording. Haven't answered since then. Presumably it's bill collection, according to the other reports!

I should also note, that the first time I received a collections letter was a year after the fact. I may have received another after, but i cannot recall. I just remember thinking how strange it was.

I just received a call from this number as well. I went to the walgreens walk-in clinic about 2 years ago, but I paid on the spot when I went. I've received odd bills once or twice, but they don't show up in my credit report, so I've ignored it. When I just received this call, I hit send but didn't say anything- just waited for a voice or recording. After 30 seconds, nothing, so I hung up. I normally won't even answer calls I don't recognize.

Same here. They've had billing issues that were resolved by my insurance company (by paying them the amount that was due -- original issue was due to my insurance company, but they corrected it the first time back in 7/2012). They got the extra payment/check from my insurance company. I have been getting repeated notices for 8 months about this $30 (which was cashed on 7/24/2012) and now, despite a call I made last week, AGAIN telling them that they already have the money and them telling me that they would take care of it (same response EVERY time), I'm now getting collections calls. This is the most inept company I have EVER found. And I hope it's just inept and not a scam to get paid twice for services.

got a call and it was a robotic call.  Could not understand the name, bunch of clur.  If it is correct and Walgreens clinic then i need to find my proof of payment--and it was over 2 yrs ago that we went there.  trying to collect something this late?

The same thning with me!  My copay for using their stupid clinic is $5!  I paid $5 IN CASH over a year ago and am getting bothered by this!  Maybe their clinic people should get calls asking where the customers money is going!

I saw this on either 60 minutes or another news type show, where these places do just that, harass you until you just pay which many people do, then once you pay anything they continue to call with another bill with different invoices numbers so they can sound legit and get another amount of money, and then sell you data to other companies that are not actual collection agencies but warehouses full of phones and people that are called telemarketers and will drain your bank if you let them. Check your credit report, to see if you have a bill for anything posted to the credit report if not of course it is fake.

All of us incur debt sometimes when we don't have cash and say send me a bill, those are the places that are hammering you for the money. There are rules to collection and these places don't have any. Fly by night, and then the start in a new building in a new city. You can have the number blocked if it is a cell number you are being bothered on. House numbers I am not sure. Sprint for sure blocks any number you want blocked, give them a call or chat with an Sprint care advocate and they will help you right out.

A call came through from this number but I didn't answer. I called it back and found it was from State Collections for WalGreen's Take Care Clinic. I was told I owed $10 from a trip I took to the clinic back in January of 2009. I explained that if I owed this I would have received an EOB from my ins. and that this was being disputed. She was very curteous but mistaken in this manner.

866-594-1234 is actually a comcast number that I have used many times to call them to make a payment or if my service is messed up. I don't think it is related to the 800-275-0930 number though.

This number used to call about 8 times a day, then it stopped for about 3 months. Now they're calling literally every hour, all day, all night. It is a recorded message, they don't leave a message, they don't answer if I pick it up. If it is Walgreens, like some other have said here, I went to their clinic about a year ago for a sore throat. I had to pay my co-pay right at the time so I know I don't owe them any money - I have terrific insurance and all that was checked out before I even saw the nurse, so it was known how much I'd have to pay and I did.  You have to at the time or they don't see you.

The same people / "Walgreens" has called 37 times today using a rotation of 4 numbers: 800-275-0930,800-266-2278, 866-594-1234.  It's the same recorded Robotalker when I pick it up.

Walgreens was hacked not too long ago, it was in the news. I'm sure this is a scam, the shame of it is the FCC or Whoever is in charge of these harassing calls doesn't seem to do a thing about it.  How long does this get to go on?
