A 6 year old?  I'm assuming the school told them where to get off.  They shouldn't even have access to the names of students of an elementary school.

Denny White from this number called my 6 year old's elementary school today demanding to speak with him about a personal business matter! I've never received a call from them on my home or cell phone so I just can't figure out how or why they would call a first grader at school. I tried calling them after the school called me but was hung up on twice. These people are crazy!!!!

I dont know why these people are callif me but they need to stop NOW.

you know what drives ic systems crazy...they use to call me everytime they called on a weekend i would say who is calling..then i get a name then i would say what company is this..at times they wont tell me,,then i would say then call me back when you can tell me what company this is then they would yell out ic systems...then i would say in a nice voice...oh im sorry i dont do business on a weekend call me monday..thank you then hang up..as im hanging up i can hear them screaming to talk to me..they hated that.there soppose to drive you crazy but instead drive them crazy

Someone called from this number and asked for my fiance.  When I asked who he was and what he was calling for, he said, "IC Systems and it's a personal matter".  And told me if my fiance wasn't home then he would call back. I told him that my fianace was sitting right next to me but he needed to tell me what the personal business was. The man said he needed to talk to my fiance because it was a personal matter. So, I handed the phone to my fiance, who promptly asked the man what he wanetd.  The man said it was a personal matter and that my fiance would have to call him back to find out what it was. My fiance told the man that if it was a personal matter concerning him, then he could tell him what it was. The man said my fiance would have to call back to find out what it was. My fiance told the man if he couldn't tell us what the personal matter was, that he had nothing more to talk about.  The man said he would call my fiance back when he was "more cooperative" and the man hung up.

Personally, I think they are bogus.  Our number is on the do not call list, and we've already had to report one company for harassing us.  I think the "call us back" routine is a ploy to make it look like we contacted them so they don't get into trouble.

When I answered there was an automated voice saying to please hold while they connected my call.  I waited, thinking that it was someone calling collect, only to find out that it was someone who asked for my husband. He wasn't home so I asked to take a message and the man hung up on me.

thsi number calls me 6 or more times a day including Sundays. They will not leave a message. They will not identify themselves. I do not answer anymore.

they call me a few times a day as well on my cell phone. No message. Very annoying!

called my workplace.  asked for me.  left no message.  i haven't a clue who it is.  the secretary called the number and got an automated system.

Calls severaltimes a day. Since I don't recognize the number I don't answer it.

"IC System" is a Collection Company. I don'y knwo who they work for.

ICS keeps calling.  Does not identify themselves and will state you they represent.

message said they were attempting to collect a debt. I have no debt and sounds like a scam.

They call me ALL the time.
I've told them 3 times that they have the wrong number, 1 of which I yelled at the top of my lungs because they wouldn't stop hassling me.
It didn't help.

Then tell them they have the wrong number! simple as that. you people are soo dumb! Common sense. If someone calls me and I am not who they are looking for, I tell them that they have the wrong number. It is not that complicated!

DUH! They were probably provided a wrong number. The only way to get them to stop calling you is to let them know that they have the wrong number. They are not psychic, they go by the information that is provided to them by their client (creditor). Why is this such a hard concept for people to understand??

Perhaps they have a wrong number, then you need to answer or call them back and let them know that they have a wrong number so they can remove it from their system and therefore will cease all calls to you. Some agencies will call and hang up to make it a missed call to get you to call them back. You cannot file a lawsuit just for them calling. But like I said, they don't know they have the wrong number unless you tell them. That will solve the problem. If you tell them to stop and they continue, then write them a letter to cease and desist. It has to be in written form for proof, if they then continue to call, then you can file a lawsuit. Trust me, I work as a clerical at a collection agency so I know the process.

It is astounding reading the bleeding hearts on these forums.  It should be clarified that the whiney people that complain about the collector not giving them any information, are the very same people that got the law changed, making it this way. Someones roomate, or mother, or cousin, or friend found out that he owed money to a health clinic for an STD, or cancer clinic, or bookie, or 1-900 number and the 'friend' blabbed it to everyone they knew, so now the collector can not say anything until he has verified that the person he is talking to is the person (or spouse of the person) that is indicated on the debt record.  The collector doesn't care if you do or don't owe the money but they have to protect the identity and private information of that individual. Even if the person is dead, without proof the collector can not talk to anyone about, and of course they will keep calling until they find out for sure.....do what will with the true information, have a standoff and listen to the phone ring.

call to try, I guess, to collect a debt my dead brother owes. My brother has been dead for 3 yrs. They will not tell me what or who the debt is owe to or how much until I send them a death cert. I refuse to send them the cert until I know how much and what the debt is. Guess we are at a mexican stand still.

Looks like I made an order from Speigel in September of 2008, I received the wrong items.  I notified the Spiegel customer service dept. of the error and they requested that I send the items back.  I sent those items back via UPS and finally received my correct order.  Since then I continually receive phone calls from IC Systems attempting to collect on this returned order to Spiegel catalog.

I got several calls from this number recently. Usually in the morning, either around 7:30 AM or 8:30 AM. When I picked up the phone, it was silence, no one spoke, and he/she quickly hang up. It is pretty annoying.

They keep calling and not leaving a message. Very annoying.
