I called this number that was on a craigslist post for taking over payments on a pre-foreclosure home. They want $199 to send you a list of homes about to go into foreclosure. Then you find a house you want and they will do a title search. In the end, it sounded like a lot of work and/or a scam to me.

I agree to what you said Em.  Calling this number 800-280-0426 is the worst thing i did today. i called to inquire on a craiglist ad about house for rent/ rent to own. believed it or not-- they want your credit card information and or bank information right away.  This should be investigated by authorities since it looks like a ascam.

In researching these ads, I just pulled up a listing in San Antonio, TX with the exact same photos of a listing in Glendale, CA. Thank goodness I am suspicious.

They are a scam they are going to ask you to pay 210.00 to get you listings of homes that are in foreclosure, big fat scam they are trying to steel your hard earned money!!!

Beware, their website is not secure when entering ANY credit card details. This is a MAJOR problem for them, they don't care about your credit card number.

I called this number off craigslist.  The representative named Paul stated he worked for Home Price Line.  I did not find anything about the company, however when I googled the phone I was taken here.  

This is a way for people to access rental, and buying almost foreclosed properties.  If the representative's communication skills are any indication of this business I know I wouldn't waste my 50 bucks to get access to their list.

received phone call wanting to qualify me for a $0 money down no credit check home.  Sounds like a scam to me.  They wanted all of my credit information and more.
