They call repeatedly,noone there.  They are harassing.  We have no collections or overdue accounts. I will report them to the attorney general's
office of we get anore calls.

I've been receiving phone calls from 800-281-2526 for about a week.  I never picked up & they never left a message. When I called back, the automated msg said I had called Credit Control?so I hung up.  Today, I received 2 back-to-back calls which I ignored; one was from an unknown number while the other one was a private number.  A female left 1  voicemail not only claiming to be from Credit Control, but threatening to show up at my house & place of employment "later today".  I haven't worked in over a year (retired).??For my added safety, I have informed my neighbors to keep a lookout for any suspicious characters by my door.

OMG!!! This is a first. OK, it is obviously some kind of collections call or something, who knows. I let it roll to voice mail. When I went to listen to the message, I heard some breathing and voices in the background. About 15 seconds into the message, I hear SNORING!!! I swear, no lie. After about 15 more seconds the call disconnected. ...... SNORING!!!!

I'm so glad we have Google and can find things out by just typing in a phone number - whomever suggested recording these phone calls, that was a great suggestion... I have just received 2 back-to-back phone calls by this number (800-281-2526) and after the first phone call all I heard was background noise of other people talking but I couldn't make out exactly what was being said...  I called the number back and the recording indicated that this phone call would be recorded and it sounded like someone picked up but no one ever answered,  just heard the same background noise.  Then the phone rang again with same phone number and I just hit the "0" button and held it for about 30 seconds. They haven't called back since and that was about an hour ago.

they tried to gain my social security number and got hostile when i refused, then the lady shouted at me, threatened something and hung up.

THIS NUMBER  CALLED MY JOB TWO OR THREE TIMES EVERYDAY. FINALLY I ANSWER IT ASK FOR A PERSON I DON'T KNOW WHEN I START TO TELL HER TO REMOVE THE NAME FROM THEIR CALLING LIST SHE CUT ME OFF AND TOLD ME ALL I HAD TO DO IS SAY WRONG NUMBER SO RUDE SHE WAS.

I've been getting these calls as well, I finally called them back and they claimed to have been looking for someone named Jack Mason??  I said I don't know who it is and the guy on the other end apologized and said he'd take care of it.   Now I only wish I'd have called it sooner because they've been calling and annoying me at 3 in the morning for 2 weeks.

Calls Days, and weekends, about 6 times a week. No voicemails ever. Started in May. Hasnt stopped, only gotten more frequent.

Called and asked for an employee - never had anyone working for me by that name. Guessing a debt collector

Found out who the number belongs to... AMS  Account Management Systems...Filing a complaint with BBB and any other agency that I can find...Next time they call you record them...

I receive a call from this number everyday.  They do not say anything but will not stop calling.  I have called number back nd get a recording. I have left messages for them to no longer call my number....

Holly, you work for a third-rate collection agent and we know it. This site uncovers bottom-feeders like you and the company you work for. I don't see how you can sleep at night. Bless you anyway.

I also got a call from this number today 800-281-2526 and they asked for "ESEM" and my number is private so I am not sure how they got my number. I assume that someone used me as a reference or placed my number on an application somewhere and they had outstanding 'debts' and the collection agency located the information on the internet and is now calling. It is a scam of some sort or a collection agency with hired 'GUNS' to go after whomever owes them. They have their crafty manipulative ways. I agree with the person who said do not provide them with any of your personal information. Simply report the number to your telephone carrier and let them work their magic! I hope this information helped someone! :)
