Bell subrogations services helped me get my license back after my family member drove my car without my permission and got into an accident. They even helped me save over $1000 on the overall claim. Claims are not the same as debts and states do suspend driver's licenses. People are retarded who drive without insurance and break the law and then look to take it out on a company that putting back money into the insurance companies over their negligence and stupidity for driving illegally. Stupid a***s leaving negative comments because of their f*** ups. lolololololololololllllllllll

U r right. .no one can suspend you license unless 1. A judgment has be made against you and you are summed to court..it's court ordered.  These people are bullies. Those who claim to had to pay to get their license back r either liars or crazy...This business can't suspend your license.  My attorney which I work for, has investigations going on with these crooks they will get theirs.

They called my moms phone and said that I owed $950 for damages I did from some stoled items I had taken. From a year ago. Now all the items I had stole were returned by the police. I spent a year in prison . And the way they speak to me. I suspect a scam. They say they will take 500$ instead of 950 to settle the claim. And theysaid they are third party claim for state farmm?

They called my house looking for my ex husband! I divorced the man 17 years ago. So apparently they just start calling people with the same last name to track people down.

I just want to let you know that they are a debt collection service, I worked for them for 4 years. They do work for State Farm as a collection service for state farm and they really do send the notices to each state to suspend your license as well. But their tactics are ruthless and rude and they will harass the hell out of you. Their direct line is 813-261-7755 they are located at 1411 N Westshore Blvd in Tampa, Fl

They don't a message why they have called. No department will pick up your call unless its payment dept.
So that's what I tried (I just had a hunch). They told me that they are representing State Farm and called me about this accident that I had last year and that there was a collection against me and that I didn't not have an insurance at the time of the accident. I told the guy that I've always had an insurance, and that the party in the accident was actually the one who hit my car, and that my car was parked at the time and that the engine was turned off.

He wanted my insurance name & policy# at the time of the accident. So I gave the guy the information. He thanks for the information and hung up the phone.

These guys are totally willing to run you for your money with snake like charm. I bumped a car in a parking lot 2 months ago, just enough for the paint to be rubbed off. I get a call from Bellcorp 2 months later calling on behalf of statefarm, they say they aren't a collection agency, but tell me, what is the difference? They are collecting a debt. Therefor they are debt collectors, and they'll say anything/do anything to take your hard earned cash. The man I spoke with dared to even say I would get my license taken away. I live in NH, I don't need to have car insurance, so I called the DMV to discuss the matter of my license being revoked... the woman LAUGHED at what Bellcorp had said to me, she said if the bill is under $1000.00 they can't do one thing to take my license away... I'm not paying it until I can afford it, if I care to remember at all eventually... such deceit does not deserve recognition. I had to move back in with my Mother thinking I was gonna be short on rent for the next 2 months. Not impressed.

They called me last week and wanted 2500.00 for an accident. I was letting someone drive a vehicle that was in my name and covered under my insurance policy. The person was on my insurance policy as well but did not have a valid license. My insurance complany denied the claim and now this guy Jon calls and says he sent the paper work yesterday to  have my license suspended. I said you couldn't have called me first to see if I had the money to pay before you sent away for my license to be suspended. He said if you pay we will give you a paper to take to the BMV. It looks like I should call State Farm since they hired this company to harrass people.

My vehicle and another played bumper tag in a parking lot. Minor, minor damage. Other vehicle insured by State Farm. It filed claim with my insurer. Then it withdrew claim. Why? No police report. No blame to either driver. Never heard from State Farm. Then I begin getting calls from Bell. Then a letter threatening to revoke my driver's license. I write a rational letter to Bell. Funny .. the address on the return envelope does not exist! The letter came back "Not Deliverable." (After I got it back I Googled the office building address and Bell is not listed as a tenant.) Shady? I'm not worried about losing my license. I do understand the legal system. Bell can seek a judgment but a  judge or magistrate must decide on the validity. I will receive a notice, as required by law, before any judgment is made. At that point, I will go in person or send a registered letter to the court. Again, no police report. No assignment of blame.

They have been around and in business since 1976.

Here is a link to what they do. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subrogation

Bell Corporation of America does not suspend licenses.

They notify the state Via petition under the Financial responsibility laws

Here is a link to some information regarding the Financial Responsibility Laws http://www.investopedia.com/terms/f/financial-responsibility-law.asp

In the case that there is an outstanding insurance claim paid and they are unable to attain insurance info from the other party. Failure to respond to this business could lead to Suspension/Revocation of Drivers License, and Registration by the state's Dept. of Motor Vehicles.

Here is a link to the National Association for subrogation Professionals http://www.subrogation.org/.

A quick google search of these terms and laws will reward you with the same results.

Bell is not a debt collection agency. Debt is contractual, they are a Subrogation Agency. Around since 1976 in the same line of business.

TOTAL SCAM ! Contact your insurance agent or department of insurance commissioner to get the real scoop. A private company can not suspend your drivers license, only the state can. If your insurance lapses you do not get an automatic suspension. How would they know you are even driving a personal car? Looks like the company got wind of this site and had their cronies add comments for a sense of legitimacy.

If you owe a company money, you might get a garnishment....not a suspended license.

Bell Subrogation Services LLC of Tampa, Florida is the epitome of a slimy, unethically run organization that will unrelentingly harass innocent people and thumb their nose at those they harass and the government.  They should have their license to do business revoked and if we had any Attorney General who actually worked for the people, they would be out of business.  In my case, they are in violation of at least one law (the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act) and have ignored repeated requests by phone and certified mail to cease and desist their annoying daily phone calls. I have even written the Texas (where I live) and Florida Attorneys General about this despicable company and their illegal practices.  Yet, to date, they continue their daily phone calls looking for someone who no longer lives at my address and has not lived at my address for over 4 years, but that apparently means nothing to these scum bags.  No company should be allowed to do business when they constantly harass innocent people and ignore the law.

I was informed by the Texas Attorney General that "...when substantive evidence indicates that a person or business is systemically violating Texas law, the Attorney General may take action on behalf of the collective legal interests of the people of this state."  Isn't it comforting to know that the people in government who are entrusted to uphold the laws, and who allegedly work for the people, MAY take action against companies that violate the law essentially whenever they feel like it.  A quick search of the Internet will reveal plenty of evidence of this company's dubious practices for the Attorneys General.  One wonders just how many phone calls, emails and/or letters to these officials it will take before they do their job.

If any of you reading this have had similar problems with this company, or know of others who have, I encourage you to write or call your state and the Florida Attorney General.  Who knows, if they start getting harassed enough maybe they will actually uphold the law and shut this business down.

Siighh .... You gave these thugs the keys to your bank account in spite of multiple valid reasons not to trust what this collector was telling you. With luck it will dawn on you that you are entitled to proof of claim and fair treatment, else the collection agency is NOT entitled to your assets.

} They may not be the nicest people to talk to

That puts it too mildly according to non-shill comments logged here in the year which has passed. I stand behind my original remarks. Lawbreaking debt collectors are not "helping" anyone but themselves to your pockets.

} Regardless of your opinion

What the Federal Trade Commission and state attorneys general and consumer law groups have to say about extortionist collection tactics is not a matter of opinion. People are harmed when collections laws are broken, far more than you call center drama queens will ever be when you fail to collect on bogus claims and deceptive practices.

this number has called our house phone repeatedly, non stop. wanting over 2000 dollars. for an accident we were in, in december of 2011. we have a one year old so obviously we dont have that kinda money. state farm has never contacted us once about how much we owe or nothing from state farm. we did not have insurance at the time, but state farm should have contacted us first. theres something not right about these people. and when we got into our accident we didnt even have a house phone or number so we have no idea how they got our house phone number. we got the cops and the people we hit our cell phone number. i dont believe these people are real cuz the insurance company has to contact you first about the claim. and people can not be calling other people all hours of the night. and when these people call they are rude and will hang up on you... and i made and agreement to have the money takin out of my bank account on the 23rd of every month and its now the 24th. my insurance company now always takes the money out on the scheduled day. so i am going to have my account blocked from them until i figure out who these people are...

I got a call from these people today regarding an accident I had in a Walmart parking lot. At the time of the accident I did not have ins. However the officer did not write an accident report because it was on private property. I got a ticket for no insurance. I have since gotten insurance and the judge dismissed the ticket. I contacted my insurance agent who btw is State Farm, and he has never heard of these people and told me to never give anyone by this company my debit or checking acct information. I then called the DMV and they dont even have the ticket in their system. If the lady I bumped into had turned this into her ins company, then wouldn't her ins co contact me about it? This seems a little fishy to me.

These people keep calling my house with the same message. 1) Whoever they are asking for doesn't live here. 2) All they say is that my "driving privileges will be revoked" if I don't call them back. So, the first time I called back and told them they have the wrong number and to stop calling. FYI...couldn't explain to me exactly what they were up two. After several more harassing phone calls I finally called back and got one of their rude representatives on the phone who couldn't explain anything else. I've reported them to the BBB and will be contacted the FCC/FTC considering this is becoming harassment across state borders.

Based on the multiple accounts above I would say the company is half-legitimate and half scam.

I had an accident three months ago in which my insurance reused to pay.  the other persons company State Farm send the debt  to Bell LLC who first contacted me by phone 8 days ago demanding the debt be paid right away I refused to pay till I had something in writing stating that they were the debt holder and til I saw documentation of the repairs I was paying for.  I got both yesterday and contacted them again saying I was willing to pay and wanted to see about making arrangements  I was told I had to pay in full by Monday or they would have the State suspend my licence I TRIED explaining that I was moving the money around to get into an account from which I could pay them out off but that I was not sure I could have it ready by Monday as it was Saturday morning but all I could get from them was pay by Monday or loose your licence.  Three days after the letter arrives and only ten days  from the first call seems really short notice and unreasonable to expect some one to pay a close to three thousand dollar debt.
