I am getting calls from this company ...threatening me for check fraud. I did have a payday loan and i do need to pay it but I would think i would go to the company to pay it. Should i not pay this company? they threatening me with court! can they take money out of my checking account?

Had a message on my voicemail at work for Shaundra something or another saying that if I did not want to be served at work I needed to call her back at William Schneider and Associates.  Her number is 1-800-287-5356 ext.2809 file # pb507.  I could stop the processor from coming and keep them from filing if I call before 6pm. Even if this were legitimate which it is not I dont think I can stop a process server!!!!!

I just got a call from 1-88-262-0593. the firm is called William Sneider and associates, they threatened me that they are going to initiate fraud charges against me and they will persue for my arrest warrant. I talk to a very rude lady. I asked her what pay day loan do I have? She told me "we have already told you, and don't call this office again." and she hung up on me.

i rec a call as well and they stated that i owe $1,000.00 from cashnet and i call cashnet and they DO NOT have an account in my name

I JUST RECEIVED A CALL FROM TAMMY SYDER WITH WILLIAMS SNYDER AND ASSOC. AT 678-666-2170,  SHE IS REALLY THREATING ME ABOUT FILING CHARGES ON ME UNDER SOME SEC UNDER THE PENAL CODE.  I DO NOT KNOW WHAT SHE IS TALKING ABOUT.  BUT I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT SHE IS TALKING ABOUT.

I just received a phone call from them today and It was one of the more real sounding ones that I have received.. Until asked for proof.. And told her I wasn't paying without proof, he threatened to put me in jail, with a 4000$ bond.. How professional..

i have been getting a call a day from ms. tammy snieder of williams, snieder, and associates as well. i have  discovered an app called Mr. Number. while it only helps those of us with cell phones capable of running this app (mine is a droid,, im fairly certain iphone supports it as well) this app not only blocks the number, but does so by picking up and then immediately hanging up on them. they are not given an option to leave there BS threats on my voicemail anymore! and i sincerely hope it drives them just as crazy as they once drove me. now they still call relentlessly, dont get me wrong. they are persistant, ill give them that, but my phone rings once, and voila! disconnected! so since i know there is no "debtors prison" in the united states i feel confident that i will not have any warrants filed and the only thing i need to fret is a low credit score (which its pretty much at rock bottom, so go ahead and put it on my tab, Tammy Snieder!)  i dont feel avoiding debt is a justifiable thing, but i really didnt intend to not pay my bills. but its a tough economy and i was laid off. i cant pay if i dont have it. that is just simple math, and feeding and housing my children is my top priority and now i must go, i have a meeting with my bankrupty attorney. (oh, and if ms. snieder, was able to tell why, and who i owed instead of only dish out empty threats and not offer any thing writing she may have had more luck getting blood out of this turnip)

got a call from willian synder and a$$holes asking for $275 from 2010. i called the company THEY said they were calling for, there is no balance there. The local AG office stated this was a scam and to discontinue communications, via email, calls etc.  678-666-4586 is their number. i too asked them for paper work, Ms Morgan Taylor hung up.

Glad I googled up this number. I got this site. Thanks for the info. I will file a complaint with the FTC. I will not call back.

I too have received calls from these people as well as their counter parts that are located in Pakistan or somewhere over there with that accent.  Originally i was scared but now i'm just mad.  They tried to access my checking account in April 2011.  To me, this is terrorist activity to call and harrass people.  I have asked repeatedly for them to send me something in writing and nothing happens.  Today, I got a call from someone claiming to be an "investigator" from this same place.  Wants to set up payment plans...but won't send me anything in writing.  So I am thankful I decided to google this and find out I'm not the only one being harrassed.  I'm not paying a penny to anyone that uses the phone only and told them that.  The "investigator" said this was tied to my social security number...do you know how easy it is to get that information, I ask her.  I've been scammed before and refuse to be a victim again.  I'll change my phone numbers before I give them a dime.  It's easy to just hang up on them and don't buy into the scare tactics.

I keep getting calls from an American Legal Dept. or something with the phone # 512-646-2003, 214-449-0158, and William, Sneider & Assoc. ph # 800-287-5356 ext. 1000, ext. 2760, or 678-666-2170. They keep calling place of employment and cell #. Making threats about filing court papers in the magistrate office and serving me papers. Not once did I ever receive anything in the mail stating I owe anything. These companies are SCAMMERS and crooks!!! I'm not paying a dime unless it's in writing. They can makes threats all they want, but I'm not falling for it. I know the legal process and it has to be sent in writing to dispute the validity of a debt. I had to laugh when the person left me a message stating call back and save the embarrassment of us continuously calling your employer.

its the same number they are using Skype and Google to call people now since so many have caught on.  No one should pay them.  I answer a switchboard at work and these jerks call all the time and sometimes they get nasty like sexual grossness.  if they are real they wouldnt be this mean and break all the laws i just report the number they use everytime.  One guy with heavy accent called and said he was an Officer of the law lol and was nasty to me and i told him he should start googling his own number lol he told me to eff off what a tard.

igot the same message, they said fraud charges are pending against me and to settle the matter i need to pay $480 to settle the matter.  I looked the number up online and the number is also and ups tracking info number, what gives?

a lady by the name of Morgan Taylor had been calling me and telling me i owe for a loan me thinking it was the loan i had just recently tooken out paid her 60 dollars, when it was my nxt payment due date she repeatively called me i then told her i was not going to pay until they sent me a bill statement in the mail, she then told me she couldnt do tht because i filled out loan papers online, i then gave her a fax number tht she could fax the information too, she told me it was invaid number....not true it was my dads work fax he reseves and sends faxes all day long, she disconnected the call i called back, no answer i left msgs and tryed to call back many times many different days, (wanting to clear this what i thought was a bill up) finally i got a call back frm a lady named Tammy Smith, she told me the same thing, invalid fax number she was VERY rude yelling at me and i couldnt get a word in....she then told me to contact my lawyer and she would see me in court, then another "Tammy" called me today and told me the same thing and if i didnt pay 220$s court papers would be filed and served to my work, i asked why she couldnt send me anything in the mail she said all she could send in the mail is court papers, i then got home and did in fact get a fax tht looked like anyone could put it together, it just stated that i owed 220 $s and my first payment was due by today or i would get served papers, but i had already made my first payment.... this place is a joke, i honestly wish these ppl and rude wemen would call me back so i can tell them exactly how i feel about this scam, not tht it would help! if they dont stop calling harrassment charges will be filed!!! DONT PAY A PENNY!!!! im not!!!

I just got the same call from ( 800) 287-5356 ext 1000 today 09/13/11.

I have been getting calls from this number--actually from 678-466-6427-unknown caller-however-a message left on my answering machine states that Joslyn would like to settle out of court-so call me at 800-287-5356 ext 2753--she spoke very poorly that I had to listen to the message numerous times to get info straight-plus the call was not for me or anyone in my household-it was for my adult daughter(in her mid 30's) and not living here-she also left the last 4 digits of my daughter's ss#--which shows how stupid the girl was--Joslyn stated that she was an investigator at this firm-looking at fraud charges---and it hit me that about 6 months ago--same person and numbers---but claimed that they were with the fraud unit of the FBI---regardless--of what low they stoop to threaten me into "making" my adult daughter call them--forget it--if they were able to find me and my number and my connection with my adult daughter and leave on my answering machine the last 4 digits of daughter's ss#---they haven't even tried to find her themselves--and so I will not make their job easier for them---shows ya how smart they aren't!!!  6 months later and they contact me again--when they know I didn't fall for the last line of bull they left me---I laugh at them!!

Keep getting phone calls from same number. Have been for a while now. Called the number and dialed the extension for the agent that called me (Renee Williams) the extension just loops me back through the system. Can they really press fraud charges for this?

Didn't call me but my in-laws saying I referred their name to them! How  dumb. Total Fraud.

I called the federal trade commission to report them and they have instructed for me not to speak with them or give them any information. I suggest you do the same thing... 800-FTC-HELP however you will be directed to 877-382-4357 - Hope this helps.
Any one with issues needs to follow this protacal to shut these people down.  They were targeting my 89 year old dad...............

I received a call from a John Williams today from this company.  I decided to look up the information for them while I was on the phone with him and came across this.  This was very helpful, especially the information on the Fair Credit Act that someone posted previously.  I told him that I'm entitled to a written notice an then 30 days after that.  He couldn't say too much but said that he would send it and asked for my email address.  If it's not on my credit, I'm not paying a dime!!  Thanks for the information.

yea the same people called me and left a message saying the same thing u said. dont b scared. they change their name up each time. and have even threatened to come shoot me.i dont even answer my phone nw.

I keep getting calls from this number too, also saying they will be filling a court order for fraud agaist me and contacted a friend of mine regarding this. I didn"t call back. I wonder where this people get this information , work number and cell number!

I keep getting calls from this number and another, and I've never had a payday loan. This makes me really angry. The other people said they were coming to my house to serve me, and I stayed home to see what was going on. No one ever showed up. I never call anyone back if they don't state what their business name is. Neither of these do. It's always "Call our office"

The BBB just shows the complaints resolved.  I do not believe anything was done, the company was just informed of the complaint and most likely denied it.

I got several messages from this number and finally he called my job John Williams from Snyder & Assocates.  Told me the same thing, and he could stop it today only if I make payment arrangements over the phone today.  I told him no if you are a law office I should have received notice in writting.  He told me he could send me an email.  That's when I was for sure was a crook!  My attonrney friend told me that  law offices don't conduct busness over the phone.

i got same phone call.  i was able to locate it on yahoo, it shows to be a lawfirm out of ny.   did anything ever come of it?  pls reply....thx
