Just received a postcard stating the same thing with Permit 3950 from West Palm Beach FL, and same phone number..
They used a photo of a cruise ship on the front and the Norwegian Cruise Line logo above the salutation.
Seems like a  copyright violation, or it's a company posing as a travel agency.

I called the number and I'm going to the presentation. It's at the Hilton near the airport. My friend happens to work there. She said, yes it is legit, and I will receive the vouchers for flight. I have to pay the taxes and $50 for the reservation fee. They want you to know about a discount travel company. So, I'm going to go for the heck of it to see what it's all about. I know my brother did this last year and got it so what the heck, i'll try. I'll report back what I find..! If it's a scam, everyone should def. know about it!!!!

Recieved a slick post card with airtran and hawiian air insignias on front.Mailed from Sacramento Ca. with postal permit 1684. Phone number 888 490 6295. Offering 2 round trip air fares to Honolulu. If I respond in 48 hours I will also recieve 3 day 2 night hotel. States it is not a timeshare or land sale offer. Fine print states it is not affiliated with the airlines showing on front. Obviously I did not call. Be advised this is a obvious scam. I just noticed it does not say they are free. Now I am even less interested.

Just a follow-up. Here is the message that the US postal service gives when you report suspected fraud on their website:

"Thank you for completing this form. The information you provided will be entered into our national complaint system.

"The U.S. Postal Inspection Service gathers data on mail-related crime to determine whether a violation has occurred. While we can't guarantee that we can recover lost money or items, your information can help alert Inspectors to problem areas and possibly prevent other people from being victimized.

"U.S. Postal Inspectors base their investigations on the number, substance, and pattern of complaints received from the public. We ask you to keep all original documents related to your complaint. We will contact you ONLY if more information is needed."

So, as you can see, the more complaints that come in, the more likely something will be investigared. Please take responsibility and report. Only write facts and keep opinions out of it. Yes, it is upsetting but the facts will reveal any fraud. If there is none found, well nobody gets hurt. But if there turns out to be, not reporting can get many people hurt.

Once again, the link to make a report is: https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/forms/mailfraudcomplaint.aspx

When checking off type of fraud, I believe "Prize/Sweepstakes" fits the best.

SAME COMPANY - SIMILAR OFFER. Here's how I reported them. You can too.

Hello all. I didn't go so far as to send any money or even attend the presentation. I was suspicious the minute I saw them using company trademarks that did not belong to them. I called and gave them the reservation number. They asked me their "qualifying questions". They said that their "client" was looking for a certain demographic. You needed to be either married or a single female, have a major credit card that is not a debit card and be between 35 and 70 years old. They said it was a new company in a local town to here (NY state) called Members Way and they were a sort of travel club. Immediately when I showed skepticism, the guy suddenly told me that he saw the callendar was booked and there were no more scheduled presentations available.

Anyway, I have always been frustrated because these companies are so slippery, and they take advantage of the fact that most people don't know what or where to report. Since the 855 number people won't reveal their identity and they seem like a third party, it seems difficult to do anything about it. Well they may not have used a return address but they (or the company that does their mailings) certainly does have a mailing permit number. Mine says PERMIT 3950. Check yours to be sure. One thing I know is that the US takes mail fraud very seriously. I don't know if one complaint will do anything but if many start coming in, at least these permits will get flagged. This was, even if it is a mailing company, the mailing company can get enough heat to give up their source. Advertising fraud may seem like a grey area but when you involve the postal service, you are talking aboiut serious offenses. Go to this link to report it: https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/forms/mailfraudcomplaint.aspx

I urge all of you to make a report. If it is a false representation and it is mail, it's fraud. Enough reports will get these guys nailed.

If you are confused about what may be falsely represented, consider no return address, an unnamed company representing another company (the place where you go for the presentation) which when looked up or googled does not seem to exist.

There is no harm in reporting something suspicious so, even if someone urges you not to and says something is legit, iif this company has nothing to hide, then a report shouldn't matter, right? Think about it and make your reports no matter what. An investigation will prove innocence OR guilt. Why take a chance if you aren't sure. Good luck.

New angle, everyone. Now you can get an Android tablet and a Polaroid digital camera. Says so on a postcard that I received today. Just need to call the number, pay an activation fee (?) plus shipping and handling.

I would call right now but I don't want to tie up the phone line. I'm waiting to hear from a Nigerian who is going to put $4.3 million in my bank account so I can cover the cost of some Canadian pharmaceuticals.

My wife will be thrilled when I tell her about our good fortune...

Here's the opening lines of the card I received yesterday: Dear __________ Congratulations! Our Promotional Department has scheduled you to receive a Touchpad Tablet Computer with new Android Software! Call today and you will also receive a complimentary Polaroid Digital Camera! TO CLAIM THIS SPECIAL OFFER, SIMPLY CALL FOR DETAILS 1-866-870-9499

The first thing I noticed was the total lack of information as to whose "Promotional Department" was offering all of this stuff. Then there was the auto-sort bar coding on my address. Stuff like that always winds up in the recycle bin. I am sure anyone who responds would regret it.

I received a different phone number and different deal.  Got a postcard notifying me that I had been scheduled to receive a touchpad tablet with Android software.  "call today and pickup tomorrow"  In addition, if I called today, I would also receive a Polaroid Digital camera.  Phone number 1-888-568-3541.  Also tracked it down by the USPS Permit 3950.  No other identification.

I just got the same one.  It looks like they've changed their phone number to 1-800-952-9644.  Thanks for posting this, it saves me a lot of heartache.  It looks quite real and almost fooled me. I have a Delta travel miles card and it made sense to receive this. Glad I looked it up first.

Got a tear away voucher in mail today saying Final Notice on the outside.  With West Palm Permit No. 3950 top right.  I opened and it states that their Promotional Department shows I have been awareded a NEW E-PAD TOUCHPAD TABLET complete with Android software or a NEW LAPTOP/NETBOOK COMPUTER complete with Microsoft software.

Call within 72 hrs you will also receive a POLAROID digital camera as a bonus.

Call 1-800-348-9109

The fist thing that jumps out is like what was stated above.  Under the "voucher" is a Disclaimer:
Call for details.  Certian restrictions apply.  This promotion is not sponsored by or affiliated with Microsoft, Polariod or Android, but they are major suppliers of the software.

Also which Microsoft software there are several different types some very old?   Windows 95-98 comes to mind.  There is no company info and it looks like it was massed printed, so it feels like a scam.  I just wanted to add onto the posts above showing an adaptation to this long running scheme.

I got the same card, only my card is a Sacramento, Ca permit # 1684, with a different phone # 877-840-4194. Had to get a magnifying glass to read the fine print! Interesting enough, it does not say "free" but does imply free. Not the kind of offer I trust! I'll pass.
