Friend got the same mess, scared the hell out of her-- she's in her 70's & easily frightened by this sort of stuff.
Somebody needs to get to the bottom of this-- a couple of folks have noted this & similar scams by snail mail have their US postage paid "Santa Ana, CA Permit #507"-- Maybe a way to get to the truth of who is doing this ?

Received a "second notice" on pink paper although I know I never received a first one; believe me. Total scam, try better next time you morons. We're smarter than you think. Now at least I recognize the source of the daily phone #. Get lost already!

scam letter adv me to renego cr cd bal/
yeah sure, burned the scam
their phone is 800 300 9130
they never called, must be something new to send mail

Looks like it is a fraudluent company trying to conduct identity theft.
