I get at least four calls a day from this number, I don't answer. Next time I will pick up and hang up, very annoying.

Got a call from this number. Told to call Mr. Merin at 866-529-1885. I tried to call and got a message that all operators are busy. Then a busy signal. I hung up. Do not have any debt.

Tried to return call - was on hold, and then it said VoiceMail box was full at this time and to try back later.
I have NO debt... other than the normal house & C.Card that are up to date on payments. Wonder how many people fall for this scam...?

Same thing as above. Mr. Marin. Call about a debt. I returned the call because I (naively) thought I was helping to eliminate further need to waste someone's time by continuiing to call the wrong number. "John" answered and when I explained that the person he said he was looking for was not associated with my number, he became rude and sputtered things that made no sense -- and hung up on me. Dumb me. I called back. Again got "John" (that must illustrate the size of the operation, eh?) and this time he said I was harassing him by calling back! OK then. Yup, called back one more time...no answer from them this time but I left a voice mail -- and then filed a complaint with the FTC.

Like others below, I received a voicemail message on my home number from a Mr. Marrin (sp?) saying he has tried to make contact and due to the sensitive nature of the situation could offer no details on the message but asking to call 800/304-8515 and that this was regarding a collection matter. Also like others below, we do not have any outstanding debt and feel this may be a phishing or scam call.

You guys have said it all! They should not be able to call you after 10 years. What a waste of time and good money! How dumb is that??!

I'm getting many calls from this number and many others in the past few months. It seems to be an epidemic. I can't get back through to them to tell them what I'd like to do with them.

Got a recorded call from this number. Told to call Mr. Merrin @ another number. Due to the sensitive nature of the call no further information available. Told it regards debt collection. Don't have any debt so pretty sure they're trying to obtain information for illegal purposes. Will try to report to phone company and FTC.

They left a message on my voice mail saying that we needed to call Mr. Merrin (don't know the correct spelling) back. It was reference debt collection. Seeing as I don't have any debt except with the bank, and none of it is in arrears, I didn't call them back.

Someone asking for someone who does not live here anymore. Saying their with National Action and that it pertains to an important matter. Caller gave a reference #. Caller sounds possibly foreign; hard to understand. I believe they are trying to steal information from the person they are trying to contact.
