I called BoA and they say they do not have this number on their record. This is potentially a FRAUD number.
A lady from 800-247-7975 called me, insisted to share a lot of account related data. When I objected, she asked me to call 800-310-3346 for verification. Both numbers are potentially fraud. It seems to be a scam!

I received a call from the number and they did leave a message indicating that they were from BoA. I called back and they wanted me to give them the card number and I stated that I was not okay with that. Then she said she could look my information up with my social security number and I told her that wasn't going to happen. Then she could look up my account with my phone number which she did. Apparently my recent request for an extra card for my wife had triggered the call.

Said it was Bank of America and they called my office number saying it was the only number they had on file for me. When I called back it didn't seem like Bank of America and they wanted my account number or social security number so I told them I would call back to the Bank of America number on the back of my card instead.

I saw that I had a call while out from an "unknown" number according to CID. A woman picked up the phone and said she was Jackie Richard and needed to speak to me about my existing business with Bank of America and that I should return the call at my earliest convenience and that the office would be open until 10 p.m. When I returned the call, a man mumbled something and said "Hi, this is Robert. May I have your account number?" No menu system to listen through, no waiting.

I've never had a message such as this from Bank of America and could not determine if it was about a bank account or a credit card account. It all sounded too suspicious and I told him so. He suggested ending the call.

they call and leave a message about being from 'card services' no mention of BoA.  when you call they do not identify themselves as BoA and they ask for you account number?  this sounds like 99% likely to be a scam to steal card numbers.

It IS a bank of america number, but from their fraud department. They called me about charges that were possibly made by someone else. After I called the number on the back of my BoA card to confirm the validity of this call, I was redirected to that department and given the same number as a direct line.

I got the same voice mail at my work phone line.  I called Bank of America and they confirmed this is a fraud case.  They are investigating the number but confirmed it is not from Bank of America's actual offices.
