Got call about 100 gift card--4.95 charge and then she started talking program--Said I had to repeat info to someone else. When someone else came on line--person that I was originally talking to keyed in info as if it was me. In the meantime I looked up Family Savings and read that it was a SCAM--when I confronted caller she immediately hung up

These people got me for three 4.95 shipping and handelings on hundred dollargift cards to walmart how do i stop these people from getting my money

Scam! Persistent and won't take no for an answer. I was called the other nite by someone sounding from India who I could barely understand. He claimed I would be sent 2 $100 dollar gift cards because I made a Walmart lurches. He further stated I had to buy nothing but needed to give a credit card to pay 4.95 for each gift card to be shipped. I told him I know nothing of this so called Family Savings club and how do I know this is a legate company...as nothing in life is free!  Anyway he said I would get a conformation number after giving him my card info I said no. I had a very weird feeling about this call. He then gave me the 18003169561 number to try to assure me this was legit
and said he would call back in the morning.  I almost fell for it all.  They called back three. Times today I never answered. Then I typed in the phone number online and it brought me here.  I am so relieved I did not fall for this. How do we report these people to stop this? How many people out there are falling for this? Very upset!

Same here, I received a call that stated they would send me a $200 Walmart gift card for having filled out a survey online.  They said all I would have to pay is $4.95 shipping and I wouldn't be charged any further.  When I asked who the company was and where were they located she "couldn't give me any information except it was from Family Savings Club".  While on the phone with her I searched the BBB for the name, Nothing.  So then she gave me her phone number 800-316-9561 so I searched it with the BBB and it pulled up Discount Savings Club with a rating of D+ !  Yeah Right!  I'm going to give you my info!  NOT!  She kept ignoring what I was saying and going back to her script.  Finally I just said, "A legitimate company wouldn't be secretive about who they really are, where they are located, etc.  I pass on this so called opportunity".  Opportunity to be ripped off!

Wow I'm f****n pissed i got charged 4 fees of 4.95 and one of $0.04 that i didn't even kno about! but i checked my account often because i do anyway and then another fee for international transfer or some s*** popped up man they took my money and i had to cancel my card as well. I'm waiting for a new one. I'm too mad because idk how this works.... will i get a refund?

Got a call about 2 $100 walmart vouchers to be sent in the mail. I went through the rigamarole and gave out my info like a fool, but I got nervous about it afterwards so I decided to check online to see if the number they gave me would turn up. Now I'm glad I did. Should have realized in the first place that I was getting scammed but what can you do, happens to more people than you might think it would seem. I ended up calling my credit card company and cancelling my card, they're sending one with a new number. It's a hassle but as long as I'm not getting any fraudulent charges on my account I guess it'll be alright.

stupid creatures ,i received a call from them as well.....didnt realise and gave them my card details.I had to deactivate my card.

I Got call from this nu and talked with him atleast for an houre and all that time I was thing why they are giving 200$ walmart card in 4.95$ shipping.

I told him I am not carrying card will call next day. I want to research about this scam.

Got mail saying u are eligible to claim a reward valued at s100. Called this number 18577285164 . And gave this customer service number 18003169561...  i end up calling my credit card and change my accnt number. Before they gonna charge anything on my card... scammers!

Well now I believe I am being scammed. A card came in the mail to me saying I would get a $100 gift card and I called, guy says he will give me 2 $100 GIFT CARDS...and then gave me all these offers for my information to be charged $4.95...I was charged in reality $14.95!!!! I call back about it, and the guy hung up on me...and then I called again just now...I got to my 6th person and each excuse was different for why I was hung up on...has anyone gotten the gift cards at all besides the people who didn't on here?! How are these people getting my info? Sounds like they get it off of a black market, all these Indian sounding people sounded the same, different name with pretty much the same voice. Wow! Talk about trashy service!

I am blessed, I got the call answered and they would hang up. The 5th time they called they did not hang up and I gave my information to charge me $4.95 a month and I would get $100.00 dollar gift card from Wal-Mart. I waited 2 weeks & had not received my gift card. Curious. So I checked my account and no money was taken out. Curious, I called to cancel, they had no record of my account. The next day some one else called and and offered me a $20.00 dollar gift card. I said 'no thank you and don't call again.' They stated they recorded the conversation.

i also recieved this call and had 29.99 taken from my bank account twice for no apparent reason. my bank establishment refunded my money but that is not the point. if you get a call from this number just hang up immediately

I received a call yesterday from this number and called it today just to find out that that was the Numbert to Discount saving club. they informed me that in order to get a gift card from them I would have to spend 100 to get 25. I also would be charged 29.95 a month after the 30 day trial.  The man was nice and gave me his extension. He said the packet was mailed yesterday, so after I see if what the telmarketers sent me.  He said then I can call back and get a refund. We'll see but I have bad feeling.

I got a phone call stating that I will get a $100 Walmart card as a gift card and I need to pay $5 for shipping cost and they asked my card number and other details. I understood this is a scam call and disconnected the call. Its good that I saw this site and I dont accept these calls in future

Called to tell me they wanted to send me $120 to use for gas because I was a user of my AMEX card, which they had the last 4 digits of, but they needed to send me a package. Had my address on file.  Wanted to record me saying 'yes' but I asked for the call back # instead, and was given 800-316-9561.  Looked here instead, won't be calling back.

i got a text message from this phone number saying that i had a free 100$ giftcertifict the first number was 2608047111 and the second number is 8772252304 and they gave me this number to call for canceling the 30 day free trail 18003169561 and the confermation nuber is 11544765 and me i felled for it now i dont know what to do

CALLED TO SAY I HAD A $160 GAS CARD COMING--LATE SAID $120---WANTED TO CHARGE ME $3.95 PER MONTH FOR OFFERS AND THEY HAD 2 OFFERS, SO, $7.90--ASKED FOR SUPERVISOR WHO WAS NOT QUIET AS RUDE AS INITIAL CALLER--HE TOLD ME TO HAVE A BLESSED DAY--GOT CALL FROM "PLATINUM ONE"--IT WAS TO BE A REWARD FOR ORDERING SOMETHING ON-LINE< WHICH THEY HAD NO IDEA OF WHAT IS WAS--SOMEONE OUT THERE ISSELLING OUR NAMES TO THESE JERKS

I received a SMS text message today at 10:09 am from 310-654-9828, and after I fell for it, giving "David" my card information to pay $4.95 Shipping and Handling for my $200 gift card, something inside me said "you idiot"! then 15 minutes late my bank called from the fraud department. I have spent the last 2.5 hours calling numbers, looking at these posts, and canceling my card!  Headaches, but hopefully not the end of my don't-have-enough-money-to-afford-to-be-scammed world!  DO NOT RESPOND TO STUPID UNAUTHORIZED TEXT MESSAGES, JUST REPORT THE NUMBERS AND PUT YOUR NUMBER ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST! STAY VIGILANT FELLOW RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS!!! the number the bank said came up on my $4.90 charge (notice the 5-cent difference) was NTR Voucher, from CYPRESS (a small nation near Greece), 1877-301-9905.  When I called that number from a different phone, I got a recorded message saying that if I did not get my gift certificate, just leave a message with my address again. Are you f***ing kidding me! I am NOT twice an idiot! needless to say, there is no operator at the end that you can speak with and get answers.  Also, the customer service number David gave me, 1800-316-9561 is for Discount Savings Club/Center, website: www.myshopperdiscount.com, and they claim that whomever gave this number to me might have tried to offer me some of their services, but they are not connected.  Maybe so, maybe they are lying. I WILL GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS CUZ I HATE BEING SCAMMED!!

Synergy Teleservices (maybe the people who are calling?), Discount Savings Club (www.discountshopperssavingsclub.com), Direct Discount Club (www.directdiscountclub.com), and Leisure Time Savings (leisure-time-savings.com).  I would suggest you call his personal business number to complain.  707-571-7610  It is automated,  just wait for the prompt then enter the first three letters of his last name and you will be connected to his personal line.  Hope this helps.
