This number worked -customer service "said" they'd remove us

This number calls here on a daily basis, sometimes more than once a day.  Several times I have answered it intending to ask them to stop.  When I answer, I can her a lot of voices in the background.  I say hello, sometimes twice and then they will just hang up.  Why bother calling if you aren't going to talk?

I receive calls from this # at least twice a day with no message.  I do not wish to have this number call me.  If they cannot leave a message then do not call my number.  Thank you

They said they were collecting for MADD and knew who they were calling by name and if anyone else other than that gender answers the phone they hang up!

I get at least one call from this number every day. It says 800 Service on the caller ID. They never leave a message.

I called the number back, and got the same message as previously mentioned by another person.  The message went on to say if I want to talk to a customer service rep, call 1-800-324-7049.  I have not done so yet-not sure if it's really a good idea or not.  

We get calls from this number almost every day. I bought a magazine from them once but never again. Comes up on caller ID as "not available". We are not available to answer either.

Do not give to these phone solicitors.  Give directly to the charity of your choice.  I'm sure that the solicitors get a percentage of your donation so not all of it goes to the charity.  You can easily find your favorite charity & I know they'll appreciate whatever you can give them.  Stop with the phone calls!!

"They are not actually the Special Olympics but a fund raising company that takes most of the money that you donate and them also uses your phone number for other 'clients' that they have."- ken. I did not know the Special Olympics would tolerate someone claiming to be them. In Fact there donation by phone is 1-(800)-380-3071.

I would Appreciate you removing my name from any further calls. Thank you.  We are not able to give to all so have to make choices which does not include your organization at this time. Please remove us also from your mailing lists.

I am in the process is recovering from stage 3 cancer treatment! I have repeatedly, politely requested I be removed from Special Olympics call list. I have been told, several times, that removal may take a few weeks. That was six months ago and they still call. Sorry Special Olympics, you won't get another cent from in this lifetime. KEEP MAKING YOUR GHOULISH CALLS.

I am so sick of this telephone number calling. I got so many telemarket calls and those asking for money I set my answering machine to two rings and then the answering machines picks up. If it is a legimate call they will place a message. But this number which I found out is from Special Olympics calls four or five times a day. They should know by now I have no attention of picking up. I am a cancer survior, first I have no money to contribute and second I am afraid not to look at the number calling because it might be my doctor or some other important message. Of course by the time I get to the telephone (I am 81 and had a bad knee and can't walk fast) they phone stops so I can not tell the SOB's not to call again. And you can't get try when you call back. I think it is absolutely outrageous that they let these companies call and call and call and annoy a person when they know from, at least my answering machine I won't answer. They are just torturing people. And since they are a fund raiser for the Special Olympics we can't report them. If I had the money I would buy a machine that blocks calls.

Calls consistently.  Generally, we do not answer unidentified calls.  We do contribute to Special Olympics, but I don't think we ever answered these calls.  Very discourteous in that they hang up so late in the call they leave a dial tone or the phone company's "If you want to make a call" message as the answering machine recording.   My normal response to these is when I am in the mood, I answer it and don't give them a chase to launch their pitch - something like "I don't care who you represent.  You are very discourteous and leave dial tones on my answering machine so I will not contribute to any organization that does that.  Remove me from your list.  Goodbye."

no response when I say hello 3 or 4 times from 800-319-8396 recorded mssg with hours to call another number 800-324-7049 m-f 8a-11p / 10-6 EST Sat., which I do, get a spanish accent guy on the other line, after a recording telling me to have a credit card ready for 2.95 I can get a chance to win 2 ten dollar visa gift cards.    When I say i just removed from c all list and cannot afford donation, and am not interested in hearing about the ten dollar gift card chance, he says, ''You know what? You are worthless."
I reported calls to the FCC-- even if it will do no good now, there will be a track record for future laws of violators. Then i called & left a mssg. at VP of co. (google searched for a phone #), then called back to call center (2nd number, where rude guy was) to get a supv., & be removed from call list.

Calls come a few times a day.  Do not call me again!

Finally tracked down who keeps calling. It was Comcast offering special deals. I should have been removed from their call list by now.

Who are these goof balls who work for these people is what I'd like to know...get a real job and STOP harassing people!

If it is the Special Olympics you should NOT have to give them your credit card over the phone.  If you want to contribute or as it was with me buy a magazine they should send a bill to your house.

Get calls daily from this number; sometimes multiple x's a day.  The phone rings several times and by the time I get to it, no one responds and if I don't answer, they don't leave a message.

I am averaging about 4 calls per week.  Last one was on Sunday at 3:46 pm.  I made the mistake of answering the caller a couple of years ago and that confirmed my number was legit.  They actually have both numbers one for home and another I use strictly for business and have it forwarded to my mobile.  When I am at home, they usually try the home first and if no answer will call the business number seconds later.  Not sure how I got into their database twice, but they have a system to call both numbers the same day. I have requested at least two years ago to be removed from their list and it has not worked yet.  Good luck getting off the list once you are on.  I have taken a comment by another reviewer and just don't answer the phone.

I get these 800 calls all day long.  Now I press talk, set the phone on the table & go about what I was doing until they hang up.  I don't know if that discourages them or not but I feel better!

I am so tired of getting calls from 1-800-319-8396.  How can I stop them?
