Call from Debt Reliet.

Yeah she said her name was Ashley Martin and referred me to their website too www.drcnow.com, AAA Cook consolidated.

I got a call like this the other day, I talked with them and they pressured me to give my SSN, when I did not disclose it she gave me this website as well.  Something did not sit right with me

I received a call from 1-800-310-9636 Ashley Martin,stating she could lower my interest rate on cc to 9.9%, letter not received. Call # and spoke to Nancy said she was in Idaho, main office in Chicago, non-profit. Also tried the website but could not find any site. On Yahoo came up with this site on  www.DRCNOW.com.  She really sounded good and almost convinced me,(Dummmy) stating all it took was a $40 set up fee and a fee of $42 monthly fee included in my monthly payment to reduce my card balances to pay off in 5 years instead of 12 years paying myself.

Out of desperation I finally called this number 800-321-3402. I asked several questions. And, Diana said if I wanted questions to view the company on the web at drcnow.com when I searched this page came up. I seriouly doubt she was aware that these remarks from others would come up. Thank you whoever you are..

I received a call from Angela, but when I returned the call, I spoke to Mary.  She was very kind and willing to give me website info to check out the company. I asked her how my number ended up in her data bank and she said she had no idea. I intend to look them up on BBB. Something smells fishy!!

I also received the same call, I also did not receive a letter. I called and spoke to Jenna, she explained that she is in a call center and there is no way to speak to Dave Brooks, he's not in their office. She did give me the website for more information. It still is best to investigate any company to the fullest, Jenna indicated that they are "authorized by CERTAIN credit card companies to help you lower your overall cost and get out of debt faster". "Your payment would be automatically deducted from your bank and paid directly to the credit card company." Website is:

same as all above......starts mid call, dave brooks and have your staements with balances ready...

I received this call also that was on my skype number.
It is not a litgitimate company and they are illegal.  Please look them up on the Better Business Bureau and the Consumer webiste.  Do not give anyone your billing or credit infomration before you go to these BBB and the consumer website to see what type of record they have.

That was quick. I just called the 800 number and a person answered, "Debt Relief, this is Angela." I asked her if I can be removed from their calling list. She asked for my number, and then said, "Ok, it's been removed." I don't believe her.

I am getting a lot of these types of calls. I just got one today. Same guy, same number. I thought I'd get relief from these calls by having a cell phone. :-( I am considering calling the number, and asking them to take me off of their list. I'll let you know what happens.

voicemail message started in mid-sentence talking about "my current balances" and encouraged me to call with my statements handy.
Caller ID showed up as 269-768-2311 but the caller, identified as Dave Brooks asked me to call 1-800-321-2907 and that he was available until 10:00pm.

Same as above. Caller said he was Dave Brooks, mentioned a letter I received. I'm already approved, gave me the number to call back, "have your billing statements handy."

Caller said they are Debit Relief for credit cards holders with high interest rate for non-profit agency.
