Can somebody stop this losers from harrasing debt free people all day? I understand If I have a debt It s my responsability to pay and theirs to collect, but I never get a loan, credit card or pay my bills late . Always pay cash to avoid the interest and the calls from collectors. Damn Steve, get a real job , crack@$$!

got a call from 1-800-321-6547 and he tried to get credit card info and address details from my wife under the cover of trying to give her a lower interest rate, when he asked my wife what credit cards we had she questioned him asking " shouldn 't you people already know that at which point we got a dial tone.

I turned on the phone I allow my 10 year old son to use from time to time, and saw there was a voice mail. You got it ... It was Steve calling to reduce my interest rates. He tried to act like he knew me ... how odd! I'm glad I googled the number.
Meg 2009-11-12 03:22:25 Unknown
I had the same thing! But instead of it saying the number that he said, when I checked my missed calls it came out as a 512 area code...

I just got the same call at 2:17PM on 11/11/09. The caller ID said the 314-621-0014 number asking for Lee and to call Steve back at 1-800-321-8451....I just don't understand how these people get our numbers in the first place!?!? This is not the first time I've gotten a call like this.

Someone called on my cell phone at 1:55pm on 11/11/09. The caller ID said 314-621-0014. Said hello Lee, this is Steve. Call me right away. I can lower your payments and interest on your credit cards. We are a non profit agency. Please call me at 800-321-8451. Problem with this call is my name is not Lee. And I have no credit cards. And my phone number is on a do not call list.

Got called from Steve wanting to talk with Haley, sam message as everyone else. the caller id on my cel was 3146210014. I have worked in the phone industry before in and am thinking this guy is mimicing various caller ID numbers to avoid us knowing his true location. I think that this is definatly a scammer who is looking for personal info to perform identity theft.
zk 2009-11-11 19:13:04 Unknown
got a vm from a guy named steve wanting me to call him back at 1800 321 8451. Just from knowledge personal numbers arent 800 numbers

Telemarketer with some scam to reduce credit card debt as low as 1.5%. Since that is impossible even with secured debt like a HELOC this is some type of scam.
jeff 2009-11-11 16:23:19 Telemarketer
got the call this morning, didnt answer it, googled it instead and here I am, Hi Lee, this is steve, just getting back with you on the consalidation fo those credit cards and we can lock it in at a super low blah blah blah.....
brad 2009-11-03 22:23:06 Telemarketer
Same Steve as above looking for Haley but the wierd thing is not only did he call in on my work voicemail # but from there he had to enter a 4 digit extension just to be in a voicemail! Random dialing?
The Office Person 2009-11-03 21:23:51 Unknown
It looks like another scam, just like the woman calling to tell you that "the warranty on your car has expired".
They probably have some automated system placing these calls judging from the frequency of posts in this forum (I just got a call one hour after the post from the person named Brian (see above)).
Don't call the number back or the number that shows up on your caller ID (660 827 6778). They just want to take your information (for Identity Theft) and your money.
T 2009-11-03 20:14:21 Unknown
Definitely a scam. They called me at work and left a message for Haley as well. Thank God for Google!

Just got the "Steve" call. Apparently his 'non-profit' can help me but I HAVE to call him back. Caller ID was 660-827-6778 but his message said to call 1-800-321-8451. Sounds bogus.
John 2009-11-03 19:38:38 Unknown
Just recieved that same thing from Steve, LOL! Phone didn't even ring, went straight to voice mail. ID on phone said it was from 660-827-6778 but the number to call back was 1-800-321-8451, just like yours blah. I just want to know how they got my number? There has to be a way to screw with telemarketers with calls from other telemarketers, that way they can talk back and forth to each other and give each other great rates, LOL!!!
blah 2009-11-03 17:06:41 Unknown
Steve called from 660-827-6778 but told me to call 800-321-8451. I only heard half the message but thought it was weird so i googled the number. Obviously its a scam!

I received 1/2 a message from "Steve", had me really confused because a.) I have been talking to my bank about a delinquent credit card and b.) MY name is Steve... and there was a bit of static muffling the "my name is..." part, so I thought he knew MY name. I was kinda spooked, because the incoming call number was from Kansas, and my bank rings in from Illinois. Also, he vaguely sounds like my old landlord. I think this number is has something to do with Area 51.
NC teacher 2009-10-26 01:52:50 Unknown
"Steve" called my cell phone with the same message. The number on my caller ID was 314-576-1718 but he said to call him back asap at 800-321-8451. Funny thing was, I'm pretty sure he said my first name at the beginning of the call.
I'm not calling back and if it's a scam he'd better not call me back, either. This was left on my cell phone at 11:30ish Friday, October 23, but I was at work without my cell phone. No one from any financial institution should have my cell number.
LM 2009-10-22 18:52:02 Unknown
Stupid called me AT WORK to say he'd transfer "that balance" to a new card. Left only his first name, like that was supposed to make me think I know him. DUMB A**. His name is "Steve" and the number is 1-800-321-8451.

SORRY!! Star Lane Farms (312-576-1718)is NOT the number. It is actually 314-576-1718 which is in Maryland Heights, MO & is a private home. Sorry for the mixup.

got same 1/2 call from Steve but id phone # was 312-576-1718 which is Star Lane Farms, LLC in Illinois. He left message to call 800 number.

Called me at work of all places and left a message twice calling me Haley. Not sure where they got my work number, but definitely pisses me off because I'm not the only person that checks that voicemail. The message was the same song and dance as everyone stated before where he said there was some "non-profit" that could help lower my interest rate.
