Verizon warning of a dissconect for me.  Was a valid call.

Two calls today.  I do not have Verizon and never have.

I received a text from this number saying they were Verizon and they didn't receive my payment only thing is I don't have Verizon nor ever had them.

Yep, It's Verizon.
I didn't answer, but they left a message that payment was not received by due date.
I only get a deposit once a month, so they'll have to wait a bit longer.

Rec'd 05/07/13; didn't answer.

I got a call from this number 800-328-1582 today January 11, 2013 at 9:52 am. As I never answer any 800 numbers, no message was left. To my way of thinking, if it's important to reach someone - as people do work -, just leave a message!!!!!!!!!!!

It's Verizon calling for payment. They are very nice with payment arrangements.

It is not verizon. Do not pay attention to the number it is coming from. It is a scam, and I have checked with verizon about it. My pre-recorded message said they were calling about my home internet service, only thing is, verizon is not my internet provider! Do not call the numbers they leave or you will have some serious problems.

It's verizon, though my bill is paid in full, so I'm not sure why they would be calling me about a past due balance. I logged into my verizon account and it says clear as day that my bill is paid in full. I called the number right back, got a verizon automated person who told me that their offices are closed. Yet they just called me two minutes ago.

keep getting calls from this no. but no one is there to answer. And I AM on the do not call registry!

This is my phone I pay the bill not them and they have no right making harassibg calls on what I pay for I want it stopped

The caller is VERIZON extending a courtesy reminder before you are disconnected.

Ditched Verizon, doesn't stop them from calling, I just tell them to get lost.

Yep... it is Verizon calling to collect past due balance.  Very nice and willing to make arrangements.

Yes -- It is indeed Verizon. About past due bill.  All is legitimate. And they are very nice when you speak in person with someone.

800-328-1582, calls at all times of day.  Earliest was 8:45am, good thing I am early riser.  NEVER leaves message!!!!

It makes you wonder about the purpose of the "Do Not Call List"...to help the people or just to give telemarketers more listings.

Has anyone else noticed MORE calls since registering on the governments "do not call" list?? I certainly have. My telezapper used to eliminate all computer-dialed calls. Got a few, but not too bad. then they came out with this do not call thing, now I get calls all day and evening. One day I had 17 calls!

Jerks just called twice and I didn't answer. We're down to solicitations once every two  weeks since going on do not call list months ago. Usually car warranty
