All day everyday I get calls from 800 330 5897. I do not answer them because it comes up on the caller ID as "not provided" so I have no ide who it is or what they are selling.

getting phone calls from this number daily at least 7 times a day even on Sundays.  I don't answer phone calls from 1-800 numbers.  I don't reply phone calls if they do not leave a messages.  

GET IT?  stop calling me and it is very annoying, I am a staying home senior.  Phone calls make me jump.

You can buy a Panasonic phone. They have a feature where you can block phone numbers

Calling 7 times a day for the past 5 days!  They do not leave messages so I've blocked the number. This is harassment!

Today alone, I have already received 7 calls beginning @ 9:30 am,, 10:03 am, 11:00am, 11:45am,1:11pm ,2:20pm, 3:16pm. I do not answer the phone and no message is left. This is getting progressively worse each day. How can these calls be blocked and the calls be eliminated. .

I have been getting these calls for quite some time and it is usually a hang up once I answer so I finally got the number off caller ID and called them back.  I was told it was regarding my employers investment with Openheimer and a shareholders meeting.  She wanted me to  verify information and I told her I could not do that but she did say he could call back anytime at that number himself.

This number has called me daily, often multiple times, for two or more months.  Happily I do not answer unidentified callers.  But, this technique is disruptive and annoying.

In the last 8 days we have received ten calls from this number.  They never leave a message.  I am sick of these calls at all hours of the day.

This number has called me 7 times today, bringing the total to 21 times in 5 days (22-26 July). I would very much like for them to fall off the face of the Earth.

This company calls every night asking for "Christy Jones." It's something called the Proxy Information Line. I keep telling them nobody here by that name, they keep calling

That question is posted multiple times on every thread on this board.  Every thread also contains multiple answers to how and when the DNC applies and how it functions.  The FTC/DNC site has a complete section on frequently asked Q&As that will answer most of your questions concerning why the DNC doesn't jump on to every unwanted caller that everyone in the USA gets each and every day.  The short cut would be to read where hundreds of others, who have no clue about the DNC,  asks the same questions and gets the same responses.

The Do Not Call list doesn't  stop any unwanted callers.  If they are violating the Registry by trying to sell you goods or services,  then you can file a complaint with the DNC Registry.  Without adequate information about your caller,  they will put it into file 13 for safe keeping.

Never leaves a message. Just keeps calling. Whatever happened to "do not call list?"

It is for sure the proxie line.  You can call it and talk to a representative.

Calling every day at 10:15am and again between 8:30 - 9:15pm since last Monday. (*except Sat and Sunday..thanks, how considerate of you.)  

I would really like to know what mutual fund # this is - stated above - so I can contact them and tear them a new one! If in fact it is a Mutual Fund company and not some scam artist masking as them.

Daily calls at noon for past several days. I don't answer unrecognized numbers so I don't know who it is, and they leave no message so I doubt very much it is legitimate. It is  very aggravating to have these daily calls. I've discovered today that I could install a call blocking app on my  cellphone to prevent the phone from ringing when this number calls me. Peace at last.

Getting daily calls at noon from this number. I do not answer it so I have  no clue who it is but since it happens all the time I presume it is another of many  telemarketers from India pushing illegal drugs.

This is getting annoying.  2 - 3 calls per day and no voice mail.  When I call them back I hear a recorded message stating that this is for proxy information and a representative will be with you shortly.
