They leave voice mails on your work phone and when you call them back and get the info - regardless of whether you accept the offer or not, they continue to call and leave messages. If you call them back to tell them to take your number off the call list, they want your address information and if you don't want to give this information to them, they refuse to take your number off the call list!! They continue to call my business phone even after I've told them I'm not interested!!!

I AM one of those Health Outreach Specialists who (through a predictive dialer program) contact our Anthem BCBS existing members who because of a diagnosis of an on going health condition now have access to a NO EXTRA COST telephone based support system that puts those members in touch with health professionals such as RNs, dieticians, pharmacists, social workers, etc. As a courtesy, the RN would even call THEM about once a month just to help better manage any health issues they are dealing with. It is a voluntary program that has helped change a lot of peoples' lives for the better.
Not everyone from an employer group automatically gets these extra benefits. You HAVE to have a qualifying condition, procedure, test, surgery, claim, etc. to be eligible.
So, "that's the rest of the story"...to quote Paul Harvey.

They need to be emailing or calling home number. They are calling hospitals which takes time away from patient care
