I got the #1-800-332-0512 off the back of our Mediacom Bill for Customer Service. I called "THAT SAME NUMBER" two times, & it went to the front desk of a "COMFORT INN SUITES" in Kansas City Missouri!!! They said that they have gotten 50 to 100 calls for Mediacom Customers. Way to go Mediacrap Phone Service!!! I called another one of their numbers & told them about this, all they said was that they would make a note of it. I contacted a real nice lady in upper management at "Comfort Inn Suites", she had been trying to straighten this phone number mix-up for some time. No one had ever given her the #1-800-332-0512 before, so NOW Mediacrap can "FIX" their "OWN" screwed-up phone system! We NO LONGER have Mediacom services for anything, we switched our phone/cable/& internet to another company. But I am sure that the new service company will have its problems too! NOBODY SEEMS TO GIVE A CRAP ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS OR CUSTOMER SERVICE ANYMORE BECAUSE ALL THESE COMPANIES ARE WAY, WAY TO BIG & GET WAY, WAY TOO LARGE A TAX BREAK, EVEN MOVING A HUGE MAJORITY OF THEIR CUSTOMER CALL CENTER JOBS TO "INDIA" OR ANYWHERE LABOR IS CHEAP!!! I am sorry if I offended anyone reading this, except for the large companies that just don't care about anything except their high dollar yearly BONUS CHECKS for cutting corners and making a huge profit by cutting down the little guy & screwing what it means to "BUY AMERICAN", when over half the time it's "NOT" american at all.......

Got a call from this number ..... and the weirdest music came on the line.... just this weird flute music, for about a minute... then... nothing. WTH? Who are these people? WHY?

Received a call from Mediacom this morning on my cell phone about getting their phone service for my landline. Told them to remove my cell phone from their call list. Three more calls from them today on my cell...

definately mediacom wanting me to add something. I just quit their internet serv. so all i have is basic and xtended basic. i used to have everything w/ them for 210. a mo now i've got satellite w/ everything and in every room, except the basement, so i have there basic in bsmt.
then i went w/ qwest when they got the high speed internet for 25 a mo vs mediacom (the nightmare) for 47.99 a mo.
I'm sure they want to figure out why I quit there services. Taking down my websites and email thru me over the edge.
Im not behind on my bill so I know its a "we want you back" or add something call.

Three calls this morning (Sunday!) alone, beginning just past 8 am. No message. My bill is paid...think this must have to do with Mediacom's expiring channel contracts.

Have received calls in the past from this number. Has been a Mediacom sales person wanting me to add their phone service for $12.99 per month since I already have their internet and cable service. Told him that I am an over the road truck driver and have no use for a home phone!! Wouldn't take "no" for an answer. I finally got his attention, asked for his name, and told him to remove my number from their calling list. I called my billing office and explained the situation and gave them the guys name. They haven't called for a week, now they're at it again!!! Guess I'll just call Mediacom and tell them that if I get one more call from their marketing department, I am going to cancel my service, put up a dish, and get another internet provider. I'm sure they won't care, cause for everyone that drops their service "TEN" more will sign on!!! At least the "Monkey" will be off my back!!!!!!!!

Automated dialer. Dials multiple numbers, 1st to pick up gets put through.
Company is apparently Mediacom.

Definitely Mediacom. Perhaps a late bill, or a survey, but in my case likely for a service call.
