Message said I needed to make a follow up appointment called the number it said to call and it was some scam trying to get my credit card number. Yeah it's not kaiser. All the other times kaiser has called me it shows as a area code in my area not an 800...

I have this appearing on my bank statement. I am not sure who they are or why this charge

Ignore any calls that are not from your Kaiser area. I got the trip one. Again. Get Call Block. I have also gotten a call from Kaiser San Diego about tests I had taken. I do not llive in San Diego. When I did, I did not have Kaiser. This number is either Bakersfield or Panorama City. They do not call from other areas. They only call from the area you use for service

Kaiser, huh? I'm a member, but they had no reason to call me. They do call with automated appointment reminders, but it comes from a different number. Also, they leave a recorded message.
I got one call at 11:30 a.m. yesterday, and I hung up on it cause it just said "Toll Free Caller". I was sure it was just another of the MANY unwanted calls I get daily, from the American Lung Association to surveys to political campaigns to the cable company. When Kaiser calls, the Caller ID ALWAYS says "Kaiser Permanente" or "Kaiser Foundation."
No call since. I need to call Physical Therapy for an appointment, but then again if they called me for that, I'd think they would call back.

I do not live in Bakersfield or San Diego. I have gotten two different calls from Kaiser in other areas. One was for tests I had just done. I had done no tests. I think someone is using my account number.

OMG I just called back and they are reminding me to set up an appointment for Physical Therapy. It is Kaiser following up on what I should have done. It is NOT a scam it is your health provider doing what they are paid to do. Sasha, did you get your flu shot?
David 2013-05-23 18:00:46 Unknown
I just got the same message as Sasha. Someone has hacked into the Kaiser patient database!
It's not Kaiser Permenete 2013-04-02 19:17:20 Unknown
800.332.7563 called and left a voice message claiming to be Kaiser Permenete. The message had a call back number of 888.457.8378 and asked to have your kaiser card 'handy.'
IT IS A SCAMMMMMMMM!!!!! They want your credit card number for a 'free bahamas trip.'

800-332-7563 I have not been a member of kaiser since I moved out of the state of california.
Now I gt a call someone has not been good at record keeping.

Please know you are not the only one who is fed up. I am ready to go to Better Business bureau because these are nonstop robocalls every other day even on Sat. and Sun. morning about flue shot or mamogram every since August 2012. I put a block on my phone for both numbers--the local one and the 800 number. It is definitely harrassmentI don;'t need.

They call and it's kind of like your mom nagging you to do your room. I will say that Kaiser does a lot of preventative medicine and are proactive. When I presented with serious symptoms they jumped all over it and they monitor me. They have excellent prenatal care. I have a great doctor and great monitoring. These calls don't bother me. The ones that REALLY bother me are the scumbag criminals who want my $$ and call illegally. THOSE are the calls you should really be concerned about. Hey, Hannah, did you get your flu shot?
Alice 2012-12-11 20:49:11 Event Reminder
I happen to like that they call and remind me. I found with most people I talked to they either really liked Kaiser and how they handle things or they really dont like them. I really like them. However, I do agree they should have an opt out choice.

Since I joined kaiser in Jan, they have done nothing but call my home & these calls are nonstop. I have called membership & cust svc to ask them to pls stop calling here: this has to be at least the fourth or fifth call about flu shots plus three letters in the mail. I consider this nothing less than harassment. I will leave kaiser as soon as I possibly can, which is the end of this yr. I have never in my life had any HMO call me over & over, send me letters over & over.........they won't friggin leave me alone. They called here for months about tests, one I had already had done & I couldn't get them to stop calling me. Sometimes they'd call four or five times in one wk. I finally left a msg on their voicemail telling them if they called my house one more time, I would sue them for harassment. That did it. You call it important, I call it harassment. Now it's more than likely about flu shots which makes this at least the fourth call in a couple of wks.

This was just a message from Kaiser telling me that I hadn't had my blood pressure checked in over a year, so I need to call my Doctor and make an appointment. Actually, I had been in his office twice in the last month, but it was nice of them to call.
dave 2012-08-12 17:53:29 Unknown
actually Karen it's a legit call and no I don't work for Kaiser
CRYSTAL 2012-06-25 17:36:46 Unknown
KAREN...HIIPA LAW PREVENTS THEM FROM DOING THAT...I'D LOVE FOR THEM TO LEAVE ME A MSG TOO BUT BY LAW THEY CANT...
Karen 2012-06-23 18:02:24 Unknown
Maryanne, are you a customer service rep for Kaiser? LOL!!! If Kaiser has something important to tell me, they'll leave a fricken message otherwise it's just a stupid marketing call. Sheesh.
Maryanne 2012-06-03 19:35:25 Unknown

Great. I just signed up with Kaiser. More annoying phone calls. I suppose if I set these obscure numbers up in my contacts I will at least know who is bugging me.

800-332-7563 is an automated messaging system from HMO Kaiser Permanente for patient notification. If you answer you will be prompted to retrieve a message, the message will be either for patient appointments, lab results or pharmacy. No voice message will ever be left on your phone or machine.
I received two calls this week and did not answer, so I called the number and it was Kaiser. I am a Kaiser member and the calls was to remind me of an appt.
