they have been calling me alot and when I answered the phone this guy with a really deep accent was telling me about some long distance plan and and that i would receive 50bonus air miles... I gave him some information thinking that it was my phone company, but when I asked he said no it was some other phone company... I'm really worried now that since he has my birthday and mailing address that they can now bill me for this

I am also sick of these calls. Every time I pick it up and say hello no one answers. How can we stop these calls and what are these calls all about? Who is Humayum Pervez.

They called didn't leave a message, I sure hope someone can put a stop to this

called only once that I know of..did not answer as did not know the name and never answer 1-800 numbers and they usually want money or try and sell someting..and always afraid that if I do answer I might get hit with some charges myself...

Ive been getting theses calls all the time for months now. We screen all our calls so we never pick up but it still gets very annoying. Not to mention its not only this number thats been calling, there are slight alternates to it every so often. And they all start with L1- then the number.

This is from Primus,They offered me long distance calling in Canada for 60.95 no taxes no hidden fees, I told them I get unlimited calls in the US and Canada for 29.95 and they dropped the price to 19.95 lol what a crock of s**t!!! how can u offer a plan for 60.95 then all sudden drop it to 19.95 lmao.

I have been called 2-3 times a day for a week and a half and have not talked to anyone. I pitty the person that finally gets me.

This number has been calling my house ever since we have changed our number. and that was about two months ago. they call three times or more a day and finaly I was home when they called. This guy wanted me to change my long distance coverage from 5.00 a month to 1.50 a month. thats how much it will cost me to talk all i want in long distance calls. I thought it was from my phone company so i gave them my name but not my birthday. My phone company never asked me for my birthday. after talking for about two minutes I told him that we were not intrested and he wouldn't take no for an answer. He asked why I don't want to save money what harm would it do to me. I told him the harm would not be to me it would be to him if he didn't stop calling. Now I just checked my phone and he called again but this time used my first name and asked for me personaly. the phone is under my boyfriends name with a different last name. I am a little worried..

I also live in Northern Ontario, and keep receiving these calls from a Humayum Pervez,(647-723-3283) they never leave a message, now I know Why. Thanks

I get called by this number all the time when I'm not home. Today just happened to be here and picked up, more out of curiosity, if anything else... plus, I felt like confronting someone…
It was a guy that hardly spoke English, my guess, Manila or somewhere in the Philippines... He represented Primus Canada long distance... Like some of you, I could have taken advantage of a great program, $1/month plus $.07.min anywhere in continental North America... GREAT DEAL, except, I NEVER call Long Distance (I Use a company provided phone)... I tried to explain that, but the guy was assuring me this was the best thing since sliced bread... So in return I gave him a better one: I asked him if he had a car... Answer was NO... But I tried to sell him CAR INSURANCE anyhow ( I know... what an a$$... the guy was doing his job... but I was bored and I thought $25/month is just as good a deal as his LD plan, if not better...)
So in the if you get a call like this, try to sell him something too… is not only fun, but it will make you feel better.
Things to remember:
1)    After you answer, takes a few seconds to be talking to someone
2)    If you have time, have the person explain the product several times, possibly getting rates for different countries that no-one heard of ( like Uzbekistan, Palau, Kyrgyzstan, just use Google to get more)
3)    Don’t forget to ask to be put on the “DO NOT CALL LIST” of the company he works for, and the company the represents ( the 2 are NEVER the same… he can be working for “Telemarketing ABC” and that company can represent, Primus, SunLife, etc…)
Remember, bee creative, and stick it back to the telemarketing companies… If you wanted their service, I’m sure you could call them!!!!

This guy has been calling at least twice a week for the past 3 months.  I've called the number and I get a message saying "F & P Direct, Do Not Call Line."  F & P is a factory in Tottenham, ON.  I have contacted F & P and they do not have record of a Humayun Pervez, nor do they recognize the "Do Not Call Line."  I think this is fraudulant activity.

They just called at 3:20pm and they called earlier this week.  Who is this?!?!?!

calls constantly, no one on the line.  So sick of telemarketers.  If I want something I will go to the store and buy it already!!!!!!!!!

Called my home twice yesterday! Don't appreciate calling at 9:44pm. I have kids. Who is this moron anyway?

He's at it again.  Had a call a few minutes ago.  Answered it and couldn't understand a word he was saying.  Told him so and hung up.

Called today saying they were calling from Primus, offereing me great rates on long distance.  Said no thanks, and then he kept talking about the great deals, so I said "No thanks, goodbye" and hung up

I live in Northern Ontario and they've called me twice in the past week. They always call at 8:55 p.m.

someone called offered me to lock in 5 year contract with hydr and natural gas before he explained who he was (the man hardly spoke english) i told him to take  the company from where he was and shuv it up his a** as far as he could get it in dry

Guy called, said his name was Keneth Drew and that he was the senior director of all operations. Said I won four vacations because I filled out a survey 10 months ago. Supposedly, his company has a website called DreamWorld.com and  is stationed in Las Vegas, Nevada with the phone number 1-800-335-1253.

The "vacation" details included:

- 4 vacations, VIP for 2 with "no restrictions" (w/e that means).
- Hawaii vacation: 6 days 5 nights
- Cancun vacation: 5 days 4 nights
- Bahamas vacation: 4 days 3 nights
- Las Vegas vacation: 3 days 2 nights; would be given a "coupon fund book" with a $1,000 value.
- 3 years to use them or give them away; could give them to other people within 60 days notice.
- Price reconfirmed with Keneth Drew at $798 for whole 4 vacation package.

After explaining all of these details to me, he "transfered" my call over to another guy named Dave Ramos. He asked about credit cards I had used while traveling.

We've been getting these calls often lately, too. I'm started to think that it's fraud, and I'm getting pretty irritated.

I just read this comment on 800notes.com:
"Got a call from this number too - pretending to be from Primus Telecomunications, saying that they could lower my long distances charges... the thing - I'm using Primus talk broad band ie I don't have any charges for my long distance calls! The guy hung up on me when I told him that!"

That kind of makes things sound sketchy. I plan on chewing him out if I ever get a chance to actually speak to the man. Whaaaaat a jerk.

Calls usually around noon almost every day, always hesitates before getting to what he is calling about, cannot make out what he is saying.  So frustrating, I do not appreciate these calls.  CID shows Humayun Pervez.
