Several hang ups from this phone number today to a home residence.*69 to get the phone number. Tried calling back and "we're sorry, your call can not be completed as dialed." 9-2

Received call from 800-347-2568 - they wanted my email (No) to send me information on Cognos.

Have had several hang ups from this number. I too am a web designer, so I imagine its some stupid indian company making cold calls for outsourcing.

800-347-2568 also called here.  I picked up, heard nothing after several seconds, and hung up.

Got a call on my cell phone around 10:30 am.  I did not answer, and they did not leave a message.  I am registered with Do Not Call.

Got a call today on my business phone at my Web design company.  Did not pick up.

I answered this call. They woman demanded that she speak to the person in charge of this websites company. I asked what website. I am a webdesigner and have access to many websites. She proceeded to give me the url of a domain which I am not associated with but had been in contact with about 3 years ago. I pressed her for more informtion because I wanted to know how my name became associated with this site. She put me on with a SENIOR REPRESENTATIVE who was polite and apoligetic but supplied me with my name, phone number and email (which has not been in use for 3 years or more). I asked him where he got the database and of course he had no idea. He promised to remove my name (I doubt that will happen).

I got a call from this number on my private cell phone. I didn't pick it up because there was no reason for any calls from an 800 number on that phone. They left no message.

A male with an Indian-accented voice called and said "I am calling about Google Advertising, may I speak to the person in charge of marketing your company."  I informed him that this is my home number.  He asked for my company number, and I informed him that I do not have a company.  He then apologized and hung up.  At least he was polite, but it was an unsolicited sales call all the same, and I am registered with Do Not Call.

Has called me three times today (09/25). Does not leave message. Tried to call the number and was not able to get through.

800 CALLS THEN HANGS UP! WHO IS IT,WHAT IS IT?

We got one at our UK home phone yesterday (22 Sept) while we were out.  Dialled 1471 on our return and this was the last number which had called but no message was left on our voicemail.  What is the commercial logic behind these calls if they never talk to anyone?

I have just had a call from this number, to my home tel in the UK. No one appeared to be on the other end?

same as above, call comes into our business. We are registered with DO Not Call. This number hangs up, and when we try to return the call, we get the message that the call cannot be completed. I am reporting this to the Do Not Call reqistery next.
