the call came in around noon. caller id shows as invalid number. no message left.

Get regular calls from this number, but no messages.  When I am home and answer, they always hang up without talking.  Have no clue who they are or are trying to reach, but appears to be a broken autodialer.

Just got a call from this number. No message left. My message to them: BLOCKED!!

Received four calls today on my cell phone from this number.  I did not have the phone with me when the calls were received.  No messages were left.  About a week ago I got a call from them which I answered.  The caller asked for a female I have never heard of, which is what I told them.

I'm tired of hearing from these people! Just wish it would stop! Looking for my ex, but he's not here!

I get this call every morning asking for a female name. I tell them there's no one here by that name, and the verbal abuse starts. I've had my same number for 25 years, and have never known a female by that name.

How interesting to read First Financial. They also use 508-647-6745 and 855-282-1465. All three number show up on caller ID the same day, but only the 508-647-6745 shows as FF.   The other numbers are "Unavailable"  So am I.

Got a call from them this evening and they weren't even looking for me. They asked for my ex. Wtf?! The woman, Quaneisha Gunn, (yes spell check, I feel you), anyway she grilled me about my relationship to him with no forthcoming info for me. Ok.. I'll be sure to pass the message along... as if. I back traced the number. Watch out for ext. 2079 guys. She's willing to wait for his callback into the wee hours of the night. Well guess what Quaneisha?! I'm waiting for one too!

These people using this number call all the time, I live in Hawaii and get calls as early as 4:30 am, they never identify who they are and ask lots of personal questions

I'm glad I can block these calls.

STOP CALLING MY HOME. DON'T YOU KNOW BY NOW NOBODY GOT MONEY FOR YOUR COMPANY. CALL THE PRESIDENT AND TELL HIM WE NEED JOBS AND PAY CHECKS AND HOPEFULLY YOU'LL GET YOURS.

It is called a FOTI message people. Unless you live in NH, the original creditor will never be in the answering machine message. Obviously, by now, you should know that there are a few good collectors who actually want to help you through your difficult times. Tell them what is happening, and they will try to negotiate with you a resolution for the account. Considering that collectors get paid commission, they want to help you because helping you helps them. It is mutual. Everyone needs to stop using debt settlement, consolidation, and management companies too because they will hold your money in a retainer. You can call the collection companies to get the same deals they negotiate. Doing this, you get to keep your money because the only companies that are getting paid are the collection company and the original creditor (or debt buyer). Help yourselves out and resolve one account at a time. Always ask for their best settlement that is for a one-time, lump-sum payment. These will resolve your charged-off accounts faster.

Looking for another party,have told them not the right person,but they keep harrassing my family and I. I don't understand how these people are allowed to harrass people like they do,maybe we need to sue them for harrassment,maybe that would help. This is alot like stalking people,I know there are laws in states for stalkers. Sounds like the are just wanting to steal your personnal information. They need to be laws for this ,this is not right for them to be able to do this to people. They need to be sure that they do have the right Person!!!

Received phone call from this phone. I did not answer the phone

I received a call from this number. A message *was* left but it was hardly professional.

There were repeated sounds like a man was grunting or moaning, followed by "come on big one."

I got the distinct impression that one of their agents called me and left a message while sitting on the toilet taking a $#!+

And that's hardly professional.

I keep getting promotional items in the mail, and they call me 6 to 8 times a day telling me how important I am to them.  I don't even know who this First Financial is.  They send me travel mugs, travel tags and coupon books.  I threw it all away.  I did not respond to their phone calls.

I return calls, but in a manner that is unexpected. I borrow a prepaid phone which I know was paid for in cash, and all time cards purchased to add time to this phone were also purchased in cash. This particular phone was activated but never registered. If they want to trace the phone number, all they can find out is when and where the phone was purchased (also when and where the time cards were purchased). Most times, I get hung up on when I do this. I will do this for a "new" number once or twice, then I block the "new" number and and I do not hear the phoe ring when the "new" number calls.

I received a call from this phone number for the first time today. No message was left, so I really can't say I know who called.

I received a call earlier from 800-348-7243. As usual, no message was left. Other postings indicate that this number belongs to First Financial Management. The best available research indicates that First Financial Management is based in Atlanta, GA, and engages in multiple businesses, collection agencies and debt consolidation/counseling among them. Does a professional compny really expect anyone to call them back, especially if they do not leave a message?

Don't worry, let them know they are violating the F.D.C.P.A and every time they call take the name and extension of the person calling. Tell them any further contact or threats will result in a lawsuit and fine against the firm and them personally. (It's a $1,000.00 fine to the bill collector personally for an F.D.C.P.A violation.) They can't touch anyone's credit but the person who's debt it is and all they can do is list it on their credit and pursue a suit against them.

I received a call from this number. It sounded like a human voice that left a message on my voice mail. The message left was "I am a debt collector and any information obtained will be used for that purpose. Please call me immediately to discuss an important business matter." There was no indication as to what the important business matter was. I refuse to deal with any person or company that will not give me complete information as to just what these "important business matters" are about. The message was delivered with a very nasty-toned voice. If you have business with me, IDENTIFY YOURSELF, THE COMPANY YOU REPRESENT (IF APPLICABLE), AND WHAT THE SPECIFIC NATURE OF THE BUSINESS IS. I WILL NOT DEAL WITH SOMEONE IF I DON'T KNOW WHO THEY ARE OR WHAT THEY WANT!!!

Kinda sounded like a cross between Forrest Gump and Ben Stein.
Said to call back immediately upon receipt of this message... yeah, uh huh, ok.

Yep; collection agency. I was turned over by Enterprise Rent-a-Car within a week after I requesed more information on damages they are holding me accountable for (which I did not do).
The whole thing is a sham.

Collection Agency.  Polite when they leave messages.  Rude, threatening, abusive, and condescending when you're on the phone.  They are a collection agency, the worst I've ever dealt with.

A man by the name of Kalani Philapart (sp) called and left a message for me to call back.  Kind of rude.  First Financial Mgmt 1-800-348-7243 X 2031?  Never heard of them and don't have any dealings with them.  Seem to be rude when they call.  Will not be calling back.  We are on a do not call list so wondering how they obtained my phone number.

this man keeps calling me and leaving me messages and sounds so rude. If i don't know the number I do not answer. I do not know how he got my cell number because it is not even in my name.

They call me constantly, and usually leave a message that reads something like "This is Patrick calling about your account.  Please call me back at xyz."  

Anybody have nay ideas about why they're so cryptic?  Does anyone ever actually return a call after a stupid message like this?

I just got a message from Anita (x2075), asking me to call her back.  On the message, she addressed me by my middle name.  This has to be about the spare tire that Enterprise Rental says I 'stole' out of one of their cars (it was never there in the first place).  Per the advice of a lawyer (extended family), i just keep ignoring the letters and calls i get about the tire.  What i'm wondering is - is there some way that this could damage my credit??
