got this call this afternoon. didn't answer  and no message left.

so why are they calling what info are they requesting.

Mystery Solved.   It's cox Cable.  they just don't have their inbound line directed properly.  Gave 'em a heads up Halloween morning when they called.

I read all of your messages and they match my experience. I'm calling right now and hearing the elevator music and it's 6:00pm. F...., very annoying. Luckyly I have (Google Voice) so I can block this number manually.

Was running power tools when the call came in.  Called right back.  Same as you all.  Just got music.  Fairly good music.  Whoever's doing it must be having fun.  But I think it may not be legal.  Will call Verizon if I get another call to at least get it blocked

I got a call from this number today, I didn't answer it, they left no message.  I have never seen this number before.

I keep getting phone calls from this number and it started on 10/26/09.  They never leave a message.  Twice a day they call.

Seems like I'm not the only one receiving multiple calls from this number, and like most I am also on the DNC list. Interesting how they still get the numbers. Something needs to be done, this is just ridiculous. No wonder people don't answer their phones anymore.

First call on the 22nd then 26th, 27th and the 28th. never left a message I even called abck waited 5 minutes but only heard elevator music on the other end. ever once in a while it would pick up but go back to the music. On the DO NOT CALL LIST on my cell phone. wonder if this has any election ties seems like I have been getting a bunch of those lately.

Got a call from this number on 10/28/09 at about 8:00 p.m.  Didn't answer and then called it back and just heard music.

Started getting calls from this number on 10/26. Since then they call regularly each day around midday. Once I picked up the phone and they disconnected immediately. Once call back and heard music. I am on DO NOT CALL list. Wonder if I can complain about that to somewhere to shut down this 800 phone...

called twice first on 10/26 and today 10/27. Never picked up the phone both times nor did they leave a message. Called number from my google number got music playing for about 3mins then it disconnected. Am on the the DO not call list so am sure this creeps are violating that.

I have had this same number call me twice. No message when I wasn't able to answer. Same thing with musical greeting. I even waited for 2 minutes listening and still nothing.
