*800-350-2619 calls me every other day at/around 3-5:PM. They hang up immediately after I pick up. I tried calling them back to see WTF but, only got elevator 'like music for 56 minutes before I hung up.

A co-worker analyzed the music and found encrypted subliminal messages beneath the 2nd layer of music; -filter out the static and then, filter out the instruments in the music and you can hear messages that are somewhat garbled. When I figure out what they are or, what they're trying to say,... -I'll post it here.

Hollywood used to use subliminal messaging in their movies to get people in theaters to buy more soda, popcorn, smoke cigarettes,... before they made it illegal to do so. North Korea, Argentina, Cuba and most Communist and/or Totalitarian Dictatorship nations still use it in their national broadcasts.

If someone else figures out the messages before I do,... please post it here.

This is Cox Communications calling with promotion to upgrade to digital cable.  I have been receiving call for weeks and finally got a voice instead of hang up.  When I called back before I only got endless music. I am so glad I could tell them I was not interested and please don't ever call me again.

If this number calls you, you need to call Cox Communications and tell them to stop calling you.  This is really annoying to get nonstop calls with no one there and not know who it is because they don't leave a message.

this # calls me about 3-4 times a day and when i call it back its disconnected, you guys say its cox but why wouldnt it work when i call it back?

Just received call 4-27 at 3:50 - no message; unknown caller.

I receive calls from 800-350-2619. When I answer my cell phone, the caller hangs up. I have attempted to call back only to not get an answer. Wish they would stop or answer the line.

I was on the Internet looking up an 866 number that had left a message on my phone and as soon as I got on another call came in from an 800 number.  This has happened before. How do they know I'm on the Internet?  It happens too many times to be a coincidence.  Perhaps it is Cox because they are my phone and Internet provider.  They wouldn't be for long if I could prove it.  If they aren't going to answer then what is their purpose in calling?

Got a call from 800-350-2619 at 9:58 a.m. on April 3rd.  This was the first time I have been at home when a call from this number arrived.  My caller ID has been recording 3 or 4 calls every week from them for the past two weeks.  I picked up on the 3rd ring to see who they were, and immediately got a dial tone.

I've been filing complaints with the FTC each time one of these calls comes in because I'm on the National Do Not Call listing.

Two calls today.  First one (about 11:30 am) I answered as I could not see number in daylight.  No one there.  Second one I was at home (3:19 pm)...I Idid not answer this time.  

No name or info other than number on caller ID window.

After weeks of getting these phone calls with results similar to everyone else here I grabbed the phone on the first ring and got a surprised voice "Oh, this is Cox Cable Company. How are you today?" Because I knew from reading on other forums that this was a promotional call by Cox I told them to stop calling me and hung up!  I have been trying to tell them this for weeks, but every time I answered I got a hang up or the usual elevator music.  I am finally glad I got a real live person so I could get them to stop calling!  Yay! Finally!

Someone should call Cox and complain about these irritating non-ending calls that don't allow you to talk to them!

After receiving two calls in a row with no message left on my cell, I call 1-800-350-2619 from my work phone.  I did here a ding, but then a person answered.  It was Cox Communications promotion department wanting to offer upgrades to digital cable.

Same experiences here. I have received several calls from this number over the last week.

I have had this same experiance with number 1-800-350-1868, Same experiances with this number. Have received 3 calls from this number 11/5 11/9 and todayt 11/13.

what odd number. how can we get a hold of a company that deals with nonsence. had this call today.

I have had phone calls from this number 8 times in the last 2 weeks, same for me.

Has anyone found out who they are?  It's frustrating that they keep calling.  I get several phone calls during the week.

i just got the same call again. no one answered when i said hello it made a ding sound and a automated system said "goodbye" its weird. that was the 3rd time today (november 10) had one at 1105am, 131pm and 630pm  and 1255 yesterday. who is this....!!!!????

i get a call about 2 to 3 times a week every other week. i call back and its all music, no one ever answers. its frustrating cuz they light up my cell and never give a message or anything. has anyone found out who they are from yet?

I got a call from this number yesterday; I didnt answer phone and no message was left.  I called number back after a whioe from my home phone and got music.  Next morning I called from work (government) and phone immediately picks up and drops - no music.

Same here. About 3 times a week, there's a call, and it gets immediately ended if I do decide to answer it. Calling back, it appears to just be an endless stream of music (although the music isn't terrible, I must admit).

Got a call today. Simillar number calls all the time too. I don't usually answer but when i do the caller hangs up. When I call back all I hear is elevator music.
