I received a call from this number.  They are VISA card services and they are legitimate.  After verifying charges, that were fraudulent, they advise me to contact my bank, which I did, and got e everything straightened out.

I also refused to give them any personal info because I was not sure if they were telling me the truth. My bank told me this is a service they offer their clients. So just don't give any personal info and then call your bank.

I got a call on my cell. Person said they were with VISA Fraud investigations. They wanted to ask me a few questions to investigate suspicious charges on my bank account. They asked me to verify my address. I told them I would rather not do it over the phone and they said I could call my bank directly. He gave me a case #. My bank and VISA said no such case # exists and that it was most likely a fraudulent call. So glad I did not say anything. Always call back!

I received a call, but did not answer the phone.  I try to always google numbers I don't recognize.  Most receipts have the last 4 digits of the credit card number on them which could be where they found it or if they were able to get a list of only last 4 digits.  There is no telling.

I received a call from this number and I didn't answer it. The person left a voice message exactly what has been described here by others. I called them back several times but was on hold for over 39 minutes each time. I then called my bank and they said its not their service numbers. They said it was a scan and do not ever give them any information and don't even talk to them. So everyone be warned about there low life's cause they're scam scum!!

I received a voice mail from 1-800-354-4408.  "Claude" said that he was from my bank's fraud prevention services and wanted to verify some charges.  He gave me a case # and asked that I call 1-877-217-1759.  I checked my bank account online and did not see any unusual activity.  I thought the phone call was strange so I called my bank instead and asked my bank to verify the 800# and 877#.  My bank said that the numbers are not theirs.

I wanted to investigate further so I called the 877# from a land line.  It sounded like a Google voice number:

"Please say line 1 to reach, what sounded like, Saranis Norbert...."
I pressed "1" and the recording said to leave a message

I also called the 800# from a land line and I received a busy signal.

What's scary is that this person had the last 4-digits of my bank card and my cell phone #!

I received a call from 1-800-354-4408. I did not answer because I do not recall ever having received incoming call from "800" numbers. I did not know that it was possible. Red flags went up just on that thought. My first action was to look here on the internet for who it possibly could have been from.

I got a phone call from this number. I didn't answer and they left me a message. Told me I had fraud actitivies on my card and to call a different number with a case number. When I called they said they could not find that case number? And asked me to enter my CC #. I HUNG UP. The original number they called from just gives me a busy signal every time I try to call it back. She says her name is rice.

They called to say I had fraudulent charges on my card and started asking me about account information. I told them I would call them back. I called my bank and my card is NOT on a fraud list and that no one from the bank or card services has tried to call me! BE AWARE!!!

I accidentally answered this once and heard the person say her name was Rachel. That was enough for me because I know all about Rachel and the credit card scam. However I heard her say something about fraudulent charges on my card as I put the phone down. When I got another call from that number later in the day, I answered. It was VISA, checking to see if charges on my debit card were fradulent. They did not ask personal info, just to verify several charges. They told me where they were made and how much they were for. I knew the charges so everything was ok. However they were about to put a lock on the card if I had not answered.

This 800-service could be anyone. Legitimate or otherwise. All of the scammers and debt collectors use it but so do all of the banks. Maybe we should report scam calls to 800-service.
