The call came in at 9:15 a.m. This number and the name Person to Person appeared. I did not answer and they did not leave a message.

I'm getting them calling my cell phone and want them to stop.

This number calls my home several times every single day.  Today I used the link posted by "unknown" above and asked to be removed from their call list.  Their website claims:

Person to Person sales representatives and TSR’s are instructed to honor all Do Not Call or Do Not Contact requests by customers.

Person to Person Direct complies with all applicable state and federal Do Not Call laws as well as all DMA Ethics Standards.

Telemarketing: When using outside lists for cold calls, Person to Person complies with all industry ethics standards including the National Do Not Call Registry (effective October 1, 2003).

Clearly they are NOT honoring these claims as I am included in the National Do Not Call Registry.  Annoying!!!

GOT A CALL FROM PERSON TO PERSON 973-935-8112 THIS MORNING 8/19/08 AT 10:25 AM, NO One on the line when answered.

Received a call from Person to Person today at 10:58am. I'm on the do not call list and don't answer calls fom people I don't know.They didn't leave a message.

The simplest way to rid yourselves of these pests is to just put a block on that number or any number that has found a way to get to you, even if you are on the DO NOT CALL list.

Received a call from these folks today.  I went to their website (persontopersondirect.com) and submitted a "do not call" request.  To do so, you choose "contact us" and then proceed to follow the directions.  Not hard, and hopefully they'll not contact us anymore.

They just call quite often,about 10:00 am durning the day. We don't answer calls from numbers that we don't know

I just received a call from the # 973-835-8112.  It comes in as Person-to-person.  I answered and they said it WAS Gevalia Coffee. I have had this # call before without saying anything.

Same issue...  we bought a Gavalia coffee maker several months ago and now a string of "person to person" calls from 973-835-8112.  I called Gavalia and told them I'd never buy another thing from them.

Yep, is a marketing company that work on the behalf of Gevalia coffee.

I am very clearly told Gevalia Coffee (called their CS directly, not their marketing company) to NEVER call me again.  They agreed, but the calls still keep coming.

I received many calls from them.  Thanks for the link to their website, I went there and put myself on their do not call listing.  Hopefully, this will end it (after the 10 day wait period).  Thanks

Person to person call? Any person to person call costs....my time or my money or both.  Thanks to all those who did a background search and found out it is Gevalia Coffee.  I did business with them in the past.  If they want my business in the future, I expect honesty, not some sneaky back door tactics using the ID "person to person".

As those messages posted say, I received a call from this number and it was probably from Gevalia as I had once done business with them. I went to the Web site listed for persontoperson and listed my number on the do not call list. Hopefully, it will work. I am so glad I had the sense to type the number in on Google and found this Web. Thank you all so much.

I called back too, and a person named Mary answered. She told me that it was indeed a marketing company and that Gevalia coffee was trying to reach me to place an order since they had not heard from me in a while. I had ordered from them once almost 2 years ago! I've been registered on the do not call list for 2 years, but I told Mary to put me on the do not call list there as well.  (The national do not call registry allows companies to call you for 18 months after doing business with them unless you tell them not to call you anymore.)

We have been receiving calls for 2 weeks from this phone number and caller identification name - 973-835-8112 - Person To Person.  They do not leave messages on our voicemail system.

I too am getting calles from Person to Person and I am sure it is related to Gevalia Coffee since I have ordered from them in the past.  What I did is Google Gevalia and went into there home page and clicked on contact us.  I waited until I got a customer service person on the line and related to him my concern.  I told him I was on the National Do not Call Registry but I was not on their do not call list.  I asked him to pleas put me on Gevalia's do not call list which he (Sean) said he would do.  Now let's wait and see if he is good at his word.

I have been getting calls from this number also, and I finally answered one today...it was Gevalia Coffee...I hung up on them.

Appreciate the time people above took to reply and give me a heads up on this number.  I used to subscribe to Gevalia Coffee, so makes sense.  I did go to the website listed above and as suggested in last email put in a request at the Privacy Link at the bottom to not call, says may take 10 days to be removed.

I am also on the "Do Not Call List", but now am wondering, once you've been affiliated with a company, do they have the right then to contact you anyway?
