Who are the people?

They have been calling and leaving messages for me to return their calls.  They claim to be a law firm - Mannbracken - working as or with a debt collector.  I have excellent credit and would not be solicited by a debt collector, so I disregard their calls.

These people have called my home three times in 3 days, leaving a message the first time claiming to be a law firm collection agency (or something close).  They were asking for someone who worked in our company over 13 years ago.  They called the next day and I answered the phone and said I once knew someone by that name 10 or 15 years ago and had no idea why they would call me.  I then hung up.  They called again the next day leaving a message and I returned the call and told them to remove me from their list, that I had already told someone that the person they were seeking had never been at this number, nor did I have a clue where he was.  How many times does it take, I wonder.

BEWARE of Mann Bracken LLC...they have called our home twice asking for someone else in our family...when we tell them that person doesn't live here...they pretend to be confused as to why ??? they have our number. I said "our number was probably given as a secondary personal reference contact number on their application or something...and they remain mum neither confirming or dening this. Furthermore they neither remotely say what the nature of their call is about. The first time they called they asked us to pass their contact info on to our relative...but this second time they tried to get 'up close and personal' with other means of contact information. Today...using my caller id info...i looked them up on the computer...and one reviewer comment said that the drug cartels in South America have nothing on these strong arm debt collectors. I don't know what if anything can be done about these types of calls...maybe move to South America! Lastly, i hope my words weren't too offensive...especially for the ambitious likes of the speed dialers working for Mann Bracken and their low life spin off pardners $$$ who are getting rich off of other people's misfortunes. Again...i repeat BEWARE!!!  Dan
