Someone may be spoofing the number, but I can confirm that this IS a Navy Federal automated system - it is used to send out notices to people about past due amounts, possible account alerts, that sort of thing.  I've have had problems with my accounts that needed fixing, I'm replying with personal knowledge that this is indeed from NFCU.

I had called NFCU after reading the first messages of this thread and was verified that this was indeed the Fraud/Payment department. It must have been alerted when I made my last withdrawal from my checking.

I would suggest the same, call up NFCU and talk to a real person if you receive a call from this number.

This number is from the NFCU Credit Card Fraud/Payment department.  It is normally used to call you if you have (a) not paid your bill, (b) your balance is over, (c) your card has been cancelled/placed on hold by NFCU, (d)Fraud has been detected on your account and it has been suspended until the owner has been contacted.

I know this because I was contacted by this number and called NFCU to find out my ex-wife had attempted to access the account and make charges.  

I would not provide the info being requested by the phone bot, but would call NFCU and talk to a real person and figure out what you are being contacted about.

This is a scam.

First of all, NFCU would send you a LETTER first and ask *you to contact them* if there was something amiss or delinquent with your account. They would never randomly call you. Immediately hang up the phone if you get one of these calls and either email or call NFCU yourself and report the number to them. Never give out any of your information over the phone.

I've been getting these calls from different numbers, they never leave voicemail, and they call at random times. I've checked my account online and nothing is wrong so I no longer answer numbers with area codes I don't recognize.

I'm really interested in how these scammers got both my full name and my cell phone number... Perhaps I should double check my browser history for any online forms I filled out?

I often get multiple calls per day from NCFU for a Clarence Lasseter (sp?).  I am not Clarence Lasseter and do not know a Clarence Lasseter.  I have explained this to multiple operators and have been told that my number will be removed from their system.

However, the calls persist.  They come from multiple numbers.

Clarence Lasseter pay your bills!  NCFU remove my number from your system, a***oles!

they claim to be navy federal and wanted me to give another account over the phone for a late payment.  be very careful everyone.  i'm convinced it was a scam.  they try to get info from you.  when I asked for a number to call them back they gave a real NFCU number.... to make it seem legit.  

When i did call NFCU, they had no record of a late payment.

This claims it is a call from Navy Federal, however it is not. I contacted Navy Federal after hanging up on this caller. Navy Federal checked their records and had ZERO record of calling me for quite a while.

Called me several times a day asking me for my information.  Going to have to call NFCU and ask them how this "group" got my name and phone number.

This company called and said it was Navy Federal asking me to call another number.  Once I called the other number, the automated voice started asking for information.  I immediately called Navy Federal and they have not placed any calls to me.  Do not give out any info!

the caller from 800-372-0026 is looking for Jennifer Windsor. It's been calling my phone for a last few days several times a day.  It's a recorded message and it will not take no as an answer.

I received a call a few months ago asking questions regarding my NFCU acct (what date did I opened it, etc.).This is not NFCU.  I talked to a representative at NFCU.  She said the information the person was asking  was in the computer.  I put a special code on my acct. so anyone must have the code to make any inquiries or transactions.   Yes, this is a scam!  Don't tell the anything, infact, ask for a number you can call them back and they''re probably come up with an excuse why the number can't be given to you.  Please be careful about giving any personal information out over the phone.

It's NFCU and it keeps calling repeatedly because it's on autodial. If they call repeatedly for someone else, tell them to stop and they will. Get a supervisor. NFCU is not hard to deal with at all, they're one of the good ones.

It's the Navy Federal Crdit Union harrassing debtors, if you are not in debt with them call and ask for debit department super and give him s*** or they will keep calling!!!!!

It's an automated machine saying they were Navy Federal that asked me to verify my information. It asked me 3 times if I was "my name". I kept pressing to say yes and it seemed like they were going to verify more info. so i hung up and called NFCU. They said everything in my account was fine and that it was probably someone phishing for information on my account.

I have a Navy Federal acct.. but I think this might be something that is spammed or illegal.

so this number calls me all day, everyday.  no voice mail or anything.  i see the posts up here, but given that i get no voicemail or whatever, i'm not sure if they are looking for a jennifer or brad.  don't care, i wish they'd stop calling.
