Received call from this number, but does not leave a message.  Looks like a telemarketer.

I searched the Navy Federal website and found no reference to this phone number. If you call this number back, there is no guarantee that the person who answers even works for Navy Federal, so any information you get by calling them back is compromised.  
They should never call you to verify information. The only time you should give out personal information is if you call personally and request access to your own account.

I received a call from this number today. Called it back from a different phone and it was the automated system for NFCU. Entered my phone number and zipcode, and the message was available for me. To verify that the information was accurate, I checked my account, and it was just as the message reported. This number belongs to Navy Federal.

I called that number and it was a nfcu with important  message for you  just enter your zip code and they will tell you the message

This is a scam, I called my bank and they said it was not them (Navy Fed) and they do not have this number. They informed me do not give them any information and that they just because they know your name does not mean that it is really the bank. Don't be stupid people.

Received call from this # today...definitely phishing. Asked for zip code, then I hung up and called nfcu. Guess what, not their #...also, i have no late payments, and absolutely no reason for the bank to call me. If you think this isn't phishing, you're an idiot.

They called my home phone just now. no message. That always makes me suspicious. Navy Federal leaves a message. This number may say they are Navy Federal, but I can say that too, doesn't mean I am! I only answer # I recognize, and never trust a call with no message left.

I also called NFCU today 6/18/2013 and was told this number is not them. They reported the number to their phishing department and noted my account. I have no late payments with NFCU

Called NFCU waited for the Live Body Prompt.  They asked for my account Name   Then My Password.
I explained this 1-800-373-2863 call event.  The NFCU Live Body looked up the number and, ready?? It IS Their collection agency they use a program named ADEPTRA.  So now you know the Whole Truth!

I have been receiving calls from this number several times a day!  I tried answering a few times and there is no one there or one time I did manage to get a computer message "please stand by..."  This is annoying as heck and I know it isn't Navy Federal Credit Union.  I will continue to ignore this number, but I wish they would stop harassing me!

I received a call from this number last night. I have been with NFCU for years and during that time I got divorced and changed my name back to my maiden name. I did this approx 10 years ago and everything was changed with them at that time, checks, check card everything was changed. But when the call came through last night the computer used my married name. So if it is NFCU, why did they ask for a prior name. I hung up.

I just got off the phone with NFCU this is not their number, and you should not treat it as one.

It was an automated system call from Navy Federal. It recognized my telephone number when I called back and the system greeted me BY NAME. You're all a bunch of retards, if you think it's a fraudulent number. I understand being cautious in this day and age but come on. Call the number back--it's an automated system. The worst that will happen is NFCU will see you responded to a call they placed to you. You can always say the call dropped.

been gent calls from them all day !!! confirmed with nfcu. it is not them I changed all my passwords just to be sure..... nfcu security took all the info and will look into it.

Reciving more than one ccall a day from this number.  If I answer i get a message "This call is for_______.  Please press any nuber to continue."  So, I press the number and nothing happens.  I wonder whant is going on?  Don't answer it any more.
