Who is this group?  They never identify who they are trying to reach or specifically why - only give the information that "this is an attempt to collect a debt.  Any information received will be used for that purpose" - and then leaves a number to call back??  Who in their right mind would call back??

This out fit calls almost every day - unresponsive to You, me, all the rest of us. And lets face it - government will do nothing.

I called their 800 number, and asked for the "head c*ck s*ck*r" . The answering party sounded like a woman of the Afro-American persusian, she said, "huh?" I said, "can I speak to your head c*ck s*ck*er". The lady feigned not know what I meant. I explained, "the c*ck s*ck*r" who keeps calling my phone". She explained that in her opinion "...I had no reason to use words like that: I'm going to disconnect you."

She did, but I have to say she seemed to enjoy the conversation - making me repeat it several times.

They called me 4 months after the semester was over, saying I had not returned a book and that I owe 75% of the cost for a new book. I called the school and they have my book as returned in their systems.  This is complete scam.

Unfortunately it's a fraud. They somehow got info that you had a textbook that you never returned. Used that to make you believe that they were trustworthy. They did the same thing to me and as soon as they asked for my bank account information over the phone, I immediately knew something was wrong. Told him I would mail a check to them but I'm not going to.

I checked with my bookstore, because I had a rented textbook owed, and they said that it was fake, because the bookstore didn't use 800 numbers.

Unfortunately they are legit it's a debt collection company used by textbook rental companies apparently. I checked with my schools bookstore and apparently I didn't return one of my rented books and it went to collections because they couldn't charge my card on file (although no one at the bookstore bothered to notify me until I got a call from collections 5 months later)

But yeah don't ignore them it will f*** your credit history up pretty bad of you do for a long time

called them back, hit english and then it hung up everytime. Seems like they are a fraud, they call me constantly, and I don't have any debt! It's not like college students can get loans anyway...

(866) 626-6632 - Google it and you'll be led to some other company name but the same Fake debt collection. Apparently a front to get personal info from people who answer.

Funny that someone in India would use a server called "Fat Cow."

This Company calls and calls - yet we have no loans nor debts - they probably are a fraud, as their Whois record shows the servers to be in Mumbai (Bombay India). The person answering the phone is clearly an American - so Its a swindle of some sort. Fake debt collectors are everywhere!
