This company no longer exist ,they got raided and shut down by the state of California for fraud amoung other things !

This company is a fraud. It hides behind bogus phone numbers, and handles phony alleged debts. If this company contacts you, give them nothing. Get their complete address, and all other useful information, and turn them in.

TMOBILE allegedly used this debt collector to terrorize consumer credit scores with illegitimate debt.

Yesterday I've got a call from this no. 800-398-5557. The guy was talking about my existing debt; but did not mention his company name. From http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/collection-agencies/license-number.html, I've come to know that he was from "Sagres Collection Agency". Can anybody tell me more about this collection agency?

Did not answer, and not answer on the answer machine.

I received a phone call, they asked for my grandmother, who has been dead for 35 years but her name is still on my parents phone number in the phone book. I informed that she wasn't here. They then recited the phone number and address. I said yes. Then they asked for Laura Z. I told them there was no one here by that name. They said she had just bought the property. I told them no, my parents owned the property and they are down in Fla so they didn't just sell their property. Then they asked who my grandmother was. I called them back 10 minutes later to find out who they were and they said they had no record of the phone call.

Funny stuff.. I got this phone call and left me a message looking for Me, with my correct name. He then again called today after I had read this website, so I knew there was some kind of scam.

As he goes on about my black Toyota from AutoMaster. I ask him what type of fraud he's looking to do. Then explained the reasons as to why he was in 1. 2. 3. 4. etc.

He then says, is this ... A different name. I laughed. He was called out, then was looking for a different person. So, I just nicely said not to call again, and hung up. He then called back twice with a different number. Good stuff, I suggest avoiding this call.

A "lady" called in from this 800-398-5557 number and sometimes "Unknown" ID. I talked with the lady months ago. She claimed that I owed 2 thousand something dollars, & would reduce it by 50% (if I remembered the exact figure). She asked if I was enjoying my car(naming the car). She said the debt was charged off from Bank One. I called JP Morgan Chase, since they had taken over Bank One, and they had no record of it, but gave me a number to the company that services student accounts for them(can't remember the name of it now), but that company had know record of selling my account to Sagres. I talked with Sallie Mae who is servicing my consolidated student loans and they have know such info of dealing with Sagres on my account. Sagres has been phoning me for several months now and have been ignored since I originally told them the truth from the beginning, that all of my accounts had been consolidated with Sallie Mae.
