I have had calls from them also. One night I called back and a woman said I owed over $1000.00 to the state of Maryland from 2003 taxes..2003?? really?? the state can only go back 3 years and I find it odd that they would use a collector for this.  I have not lived in Md. for over 5 years but still work there and have had the same job for 25 years.  You would think the State of Md. would contact my employer if there was a problem.. She made sure that I herad her when she told me to call her with bank info and she would take the payment.

As a principle I don't answer calls that I don't recognize but i will listen to messages if they leave one. 3 unknown and 1 unavailable number have been calling my phone on a regular basis and several times a day. I suspect the one that leaves messages in this 800 399 4826 requesting to speak to someone completely unrelated to me. I have been leaving in this house for over 4 years and have been receiving debt collector messages for this person this then. Is it all they do, make a call to collect debts? At which point will they stop and upgrade their actions? I wonder.

I will keep reporting these people.........

calling us too, same thing, cannot understand the name they say they are calling for.  Guess they think you will call them, thinking it might your name they are saying.  I do not, I have no outstanding debts, nor am I going to give them any info.  I am however, reporting them to Do Not Call every time I get one.  I have found that if you report every call,  finally someone finally does something about it, and the calls stop.

I got the same as the 3 Dec 2009 post... It would be great to be able to block the calls from erroneous numbers.....

I have received more than 5 automated calls from this number. The message states, "This is a call for [unintelligible name that is not mine]" and goes on to say that if I don't hang up, I am admitting I am this person. Therefore, I have never listened to the remainder of this message. Clearly this is a debt collection agency, but I wish they would use a human, not a robocaller, so I could explain they have the wrong number.

To clarify. I am not James Beck, do not know a James Beck and they have been calling for this "James Beck" for over a year, after I kept telling them there is no James Beck.

Have been receiving calls for a James Beck for over a year. Called their number and told them very politely to take me off their list. I have done this multiple times for over a year and threatened to report them to BBB. She got nasty with me and told me that they had only had the number for a couple of months and accused me of lying. She got snarky and told me she'd take me off the list. I've still gotten DAILY calls for these people! I'm only 18 years old and I've been receiving these calls since before I even owned a credit card!

Called saying she was collecting for the Comptroller of Maryland. Called at 7:00 @night stating she needed payment of 5,500 by tomorrow. Said she would collect from bank account if not sent. Couldn't give any info as to why so much was owed. Said she wasn't going to get any money from my daughter and she said then she'll suffer the consequences. And hung up. /she was from Financial Asset Management Systems

The nasty rep. Ms. Campbell claims to be a debt collector for the State Internal Revenue Office kept caling me to collect a debt owed to the IRS. I told her that I do not have any money and she recommended that I get the money from my LOVER! She was pushy and cold. I asked her for the name of her company and she said FINANCIAL ASSET MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS! Stay away form these people & don't give them ur bank acct. info.!!!!!!!!!!!
